056 - REAL LIFE

Lorelai had given Chris her address once he had landed back in California. She was happy about the fact that he was coming home, and also slightly nervous. She could've sworn that she'd even felt the baby kick once.

Now, she was laid up in bed. A tub of ice cream was placed in her lap, Supernatural playing on the television. She had a pair of low-riding sweatpants, and a rather tight tank top (due to her growing belly) on.

She dug her spoon into her tub of cookies and cream, her eyes flashing across the screen in front of her. Right as Sam and Dean were entering an abandoned warehouse going to find the Trickster, her door bell rang. The sudden noise made her jump, and she cursed herself for binge watching her favorite show.

She remained frozen as she stared out her open bedroom door, her hand tightly holding the spoon within it. The doorbell rang again, and this time she dropped the spoon into the tub and placed it on the pillow.

As she pointed a finger at Lynx, who laid at the end of the bed she spoke. "Don't you dare get into that."

She placed a hand on her growing stomach as she made her way out of her room, heading down the stairs. She peeked through the window in her door, checking who it was. Upon seeing that is was Chris, she grinned widely before slinging the door open widely.

He let go of his luggage as she flung herself at him, throwing her arms around his neck tightly.

"Oh my god." She whispered as she felt his arms wrap around her tightly. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, Lor." He chuckled lightly as she buried her face into his chest, breathing in his familiar scent happily.

After a moment, she pulled away and Chris' attention went towards her stomach. "How's the little one?"

"Good, he or she kicked today, someone was excited to see their daddy." She responded, watching as Chris delicately placed his hands her stomach with a wide grin.

"Come on." She stepped back, waving him inside.
