Creating the team

The next day, Victoire discovered her time table with her friends at breakfast. She had had Optimal in her Charms, DATDA and Muggle Studies O.W.L.s, and therefore had chosen to pursue this courses efficiantly. She didn't really know what she wanted to do later, but her grades allowed her what she wanted to, so she hadn't taken additional courses.

"We finally got rid of Divination though !" Claimed Joy with relief while biting in her toast.

"So what are the courses you're taking this year Joy ?" Inquired Elias.
"Same as Vick', minus the potion... I'm done with that shit... I'm not even good at it."

"Yeah, cause we all know Exceeds Expectations is really bad grades right..." Victoire mocked her friend.

She herself, had always had low grades for a Ravenclaw, though still higher than average. Joy, however, excelled in everything, and had had Optimals in all her O.W.L.s, at the exception of Potions.

Finally, Samuel got his nose out of the huge book he had perched against the Pumpkin Juice Bottle, to ask Joy :

"Please, tell me you're continuing Ancient Ruins ?"

"Of course I am, wouldn't wanna leave you alone in Ruins Sam'" she grinned at him. "We're all in this together right"

As he answered his gratitude, Victoire noticed James entering the Great Hall. She waved her friends a quick "see you", and rushed towards him.

"Heyyy cousin !" She exclaimed enthusiastically.

"Heeey" he yawned back.

He seemed quite exhausted.

"Whooo, someone hasn't slept last night... Is Gryffindor Common Room really that bad ??" She grinned.

"Oh no, you know, it's great ! It's got this huge chimney, and the tapestry are gold and..."

"And red, with red couches and cushions... I know, I visited it already" Victoire laughed.

"What ...?" He asked bewildered, "Urh, how ?"

"Urh, you know, Teddy and I wanted to visit... I just had to put a Recording Charm near the portrait, and I had all the Passwords I wanted... A child game, really... In fact, the only Common Room I haven't visited yet is Slytherin's... Teddy sneaked me into Hufflepuff's on Wednesdays last year, to play chest with Oliver... His best friend." She added with a grin to answer her cousins's inquisitive look.

"But... Guys..." He complained his shoulders dropping, "It isn't cool if you've already done all the fun stuff without me !"

"Ahaha, yeah right, I wouldn't worry about that, Hogwart's still got a few tricks for you, especially with that map"

"Shhhh... Yeah, you should be more discreet" he said curtly, looking around.

"Geeez, chill, you're annoying today... Your first day at Hogwarts ! Cheer up ! Anyways, you were happy with your sorting, right ?"

"What ? What kind of question is that Vick', you're not my therapist !" He replied irritated.

"Oh god..." Victoire scratched the back of her head, "Don't be so unpleasant"

"What's going on ?" Ted chuckled, as he arrived into the hall, Megan leaving for the Gryffindor table behind him.

"I think Jamie's having his puberty crisis" Victoire joked, causing Ted to laugh heartily, "Oh no, we're doomed." he replied.

"You're all stupid..." James frowned before heading to the Gryffindor Table, his fists clenched.

Victoire and Ted watched him go together, laughing. Then, Victoire turned to Ted :
