The carriages went through the huge portal flanked by two winged boars, before finally arriving in front of the Great Hall. Ted and Victoire jumped out of their carriages, still discussing James's sorting.
- "I'm tellin' you, he's 100% a Gryffindor", assured Victoire.
- "I don't know, you know, he could totally be a Slytherin...", answered Ted as they were crossing the Entrance Hall.
- "You're kidding right ?? Alb' maybe, but James ?? Naaah !"
- "I'm calling it for a Slytherin !" chuckled Ted, "Still okay for these 2 Galleons ?"
- "Totally !, and if he ends up in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, then no one gets money, agreed ?" smiled Victoire as they were arriving in the Great Hall.
- "Fine by me !" accepted Ted.
They then discussed what they would buy with these galleons while crossing the Entrance Hall, before they had to separate as they made their way to the Great Hall. The room was just like she remembered, and felt incredibly familiar. The enchanted ceiling was so high that the constant conversations of the students echoed through the room. Thousands of enchanted candles were floating in the air, lightning up the room, and making up for the gray rainy sky. Before them, four long tables where lined up, one for each of the houses.
"Gotta leave you !", she said pointing at the Ravenclaw table were her friends were waving at her.
"Byyye !" He said, heading to the end of the Hufflepuff table.
Victoire watched him go before trotting right to her friends, who had kept her a spot on the bench. She noticed her cousin Molly, who was in Ravenclaw too, at the end of the table. She was starting her fourth year here, but Victoire had never really talked to her but for the holidays. She found her quite annoying and bossy, and not really interesting. She much preferred Roxanne and Lucy, who were both starting their second year. Roxanne was in Gryffindor, and Lucy in Ravenclaw. They were really close and always together, and were both fairly nice. And there was also Fred, who was in fourth year in Gryffindor, he was hilarious, but she didn't hang out with him that much.
She finally joined and sat between her three best friends in Ravenclaw, her gang. In front of her, was Elias Henry, the first friend she had ever made at Hogwarts. He was a Muggle-born, and she had helped him integrate to this wild world, while he made her discover his. They had met on the Hogwarts Express, in a compartment filled with Ted and many other older students. He was really talkative and outgoing. He was tanned after, according to his letters, having spent all summer in Africa, learning about the ancient Congolese magic. He was small and slim, and had light brown hair and black eyes, with gentle and round traits. Quidditch was their common passion, which had given him an athletic body. He was quite the Lady's idols, although he never had dated anyone. He and Victoire perfectly understood each other on that matter. They also had always played together, side by side for Ravenclaw team, and this year, she had been named the Captain of their team, in which he was the Keeper.
