After dinner, Victoire joined Teddy again. It was Friday night, they could stay up quite late and hang out. Well, officially, there was a curfew at ten in the evening, but Victoire couldn't honestly remember a night where she had respected the curfew. If she wasn't out exploring with Ted, she was probably chatting with Joy up on the Astronomy Tower (their favorite place). Well, when she did respect it, it was because she was playing Wizard's Chess with Samuel in the Ravenclaw Common Room. Samuel was much too good of a student to ever be out after the hour.

She joined Ted in the south courtyard. He was sitting on a stone bench, working on some Herbology homework. The summer night air was still fairly warm, and the sun had just disappeared behind the horizon, slowly plunging the yard into the darkness.

"Heyyy." she greeted as she glided next to him on the bench.

He briefly looked up and nodded. "Heyy."

"I'm that one friend who comes to distract you from your homework tonight.", she chuckled.

"Why do I always have that one attractive, yet so annoying friend." he grinned.

"Shut-up !", she frowned.

"What ? I mean... That's not meant as... As an insult you know...", he stammered.

"Yeah... Yeah I know but still... That's not a compliment anyone really earns.", she stated.

"Oh yeah, I forgot that theory... You're Miss "Only brains matter"!" he raised his eyebrows at her with a smile, shutting his book, and putting it back into his bag.

"No, no, not at all..." She ignored his smile very seriously. "I mean, it's not just brains but... Well, that's not that..." she said, "It's just... Nah, nevermind, forget it..."

He didn't ask ; he was used to her thinking out loud.

"I have to register for Ilvermorny tonight...", she said to change the subject.

"And you've come here to ask me to accompany you, didn't you ?" he grinned.

"Well, you're the one who just offered to...", she chuckled mischievously.

Ted laughed heartily. "Vick, don't tell me you don't know where Nottinghill's office is ?"

"Well, I only went once you know..."

She couldn't remember where the office was, but she clearly remembered why she had been summoned. When Ted and she had broken the curfew to meet their Uncle Ron at the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade, during her fourth year, they had been caught, and taken to the Headmaster's office. She could remember very well how proud her uncle had felt when he had given both of them a full handbag of Weasley's Whizard Wheezes products.

"Remember this time when...", started Ted.

"...Uncle Ron made us his personal smugglers to get his products into Hogwarts ?" she finished with a broad smile. "Yeah, yeah I remember. That's also what I was thinking about."

"Boy that was fun !" said Ted nostalgically.

"The funniest part was when Aunt Hermione learned about it.", grinned Victoire.

"Wait." said Ted, raising a hand. And she stopped :

"Something's wrong ?", Victoire frowned.

But then suddenly, Ted's face contorted, and a second later, Ron Weasley was sitting next to her.

"I don't see what was fun about that", stated Ted, in a very good imitation of her Uncle. Victoire bit her lip not to burst out laughing. She truly loved when he did that.
