Victoire suddenly felt the familiar hook lifting her by the navel, and everything around them became blurred. For almost an entire minute, they turned around, Zeus going mad with outraged hooting.
And finally, they stopped.

After taking a few instants for her head to stop spinning, Victoire stood up and looked around : they had landed in a big room with a low ceiling, lit up with torches.

Then, suddenly, another family popped next to them

Then, suddenly, another family popped next to them.

They were somewhere way below King's Cross Station, in a room set by the Ministry Of Magic a few years ago, to allow wizarding families to come by Portkeys without being seen, as long as they registered their portkey on the list. On her first years, Victoire remembered having to come in muggle car, which took more than three hours.

- "Toothbrush just arrived !!", exclaimed a squeaky voice. A plump little witch with purple robes was standing next to a staircase, and as she wrote on her paper frenetically, she said : "This way please, the Hogwarts Express will be leaving in 28 minutes now !!"

Victoire's mother thanked her, and they all went up the stairs, the trunks slowly levitating behind them. When they arrived in the station, her father waved his wand discreetly under his robes, and the trunks gently fell onto the floor : "Now girls, please pull your trunks", he whispered.

Victoire did as she was told, and, her broom by her side and Zeus's cage on her trunk, she pulled it. They walked across King's Cross station for a few minutes, attracting many stunned looks from Muggles. But Victoire was even more fascinated by the Muggle's modern trains, and all of them walking around with all kinds of beeping objects. The Station was huge and fascinating to her, as always.

But finally, after more than five minutes, they arrived before the barrier between Platform 9 and 10

But finally, after more than five minutes, they arrived before the barrier between Platform 9 and 10.

- "Do you want me to come wiz you, ma chérie ?" asked her mother.

- "Maman, I'm not five, thank you...", Victoire stated calmly and gently. She then faced the barrier, and firmly closed her fists on the handle of her trolley. She then spotted her brother, holding her father's hand, looking worried. She smiled to him, and winked, before running right through the barrier. She waited a few seconds for the impact she knew was not coming, before finally landing on the platform.
