Chapter Five-

        Today Is NOT my day

“Your late.” My professor said to me as I walked into the class.

I mentally rolled my eyes and bit my tongue so I wouldn't say anything smart.

“Sign in and take a seat.” She said, simply. I nodded 'OK'.

I signed my name and took a seat.

“OK you guys, open up your books to Chapter 15, Section 1.”

I groaned, I forgot my book, and it was all because of Travis.

He's the reason why I was late. He took forever in the bathroom and finally when he did, I was already late.

Bam!

I gasped and held my chest as I look up to see Professor Griner glaring at me.

My heart was pounding.

“Where is your book?”

I just realized I hadn't grabbed none of my books.

Oh. My. God.!! This is some bullsh..

“Uhh..” Everybody was watching me,

She rolled her eyes then scoffed, “Get out my classroom.”

“Excuse you?” I asked, shocked.

“Get out my class, if you don't have a book, how are you supposed to learn?”

I stood up and yanked my backpack up as I headed for the door.

Bitch. Alyana wasn't lying.

I thought to myself as I headed out the classroom and out the school doors across the campus to my dorm. I pushed my key into the lock and pushed the door open.

“What's up, Sevyn.”

I groaned, “Travis, what are you doing here, I thought you had classes today?”

“I did, but we got out early because-”

“I really don't care.” I say, throwing my backpack on the ground by my bed.

“Dang, who made you mad?” He says, smiling.

I ignored him as I plopped on my bed.

“So why are you back so early?”

“Because of you, I was kicked out of class.”

“Because of me..? And how do you figure that?” He inquired.

“Because of you taking so long in the bathroom, you had me late. Now drop it, what's done is done.. and I don't want to talk about it anymore.” I said as the room fall quiet.

I yanked my covers over me and drifted off to sleep.
