Ashton's POV

when I left work I completely ignored calum's stares at me as I walked to Arabella's school lets just say I got there  a lot faster then usual would I wanted to talk to Michael . when i stepped through the door I walked straight in to Michael's office " wouldyougoonadatewithme" I spit out in a middle schooler manner Michael just looked at me funny then smiled me and Michael have go on dates before but were never serious " yeah I would like to ".

I looked around for Arabella seeing her water coloring on her own I frowned I wanted her to be social and have friends but she doesn't seem to click with the other kids the other girls were outside on the swings or kicking a ball back and forth, the boys some were reading and others were messing around on the playground . I walked closer to see what she was painting to me it looked like a bunch of blues mixed together but to her it could be the sky or the ocean, when she saw me she wrapped her arms around me grabbed her painting in the process I smiled as I bent the upper part of my body to hug her back

" go grab your stuff sweet pea" I patted her back " ok daddy " she ran off with a shoelace trailing behind her I remind myself to tie her shoes tighter next time and to teach her to do it on her own. I followed her to her cubby I grabbed her jacket as I saw the grey storm clouds forming walking to the school i slipped her arms through the coat arms and zipping it all the up I crouched down rretying her shoe . I waved goodbye to Michael and headed home .

when we arrived home we Arabella was drenched and I completely wet from the shin down due to her jumping in puddles, I shook my head as she whined about being cold " I told you not to jump in to the puddles " I take her jacket off and hang it up I see her run in to her room " Daddy ! " I walked towards her room "what sweetie " " can I take a bath tonight " she looked up at me with puppy dog eyes nobody could resist " of course baby " .

I walk to the bathroom and turn on the water filling up the with warm water I start to put soap in before my phone started buzzing I pulled it out I saw unknown number " Hello ? " I answered in to my phone " hi is this Ashton Irwin ?" I instantly recognized as calum  " yes this is how did you get this number " I stopped the water before it over flowed  " uh company files" he spoke in a mumble I laughed quietly " so when can we do what we did in the office again " he sounded hesitant about what he said I sat on the counter sighing " Um I don't think we can " I scratched the back of my neck " oh " he seem defeated " I'm sorry cal it's just I have - " the bathroom door slammed open before i could finish my sentence.

 " Bath time ! " Arabella ran in " who is that " Calum said confused " that is my daughter Arabella " I hopped of the counter and pulling her clothes off as I rested my phone in between my shoulder and cheek ' you have a daughter, oh my god you're married aren't you " I laugh " No No I'm not married " " oh good " well i have to go bye " I hung up and put my phone on the counter before Arabella got in to the bath
