Exploring the Forest

Sunday morning Eva woke up early wanting to explore to forest next to her families new house. She goes to the closet to get a new change of clothes, as everyone else had unpacked everything during the night as she slept. As she was running towards the first she heard "now where do you think you are in such a hurry?" said the amused voice of her father as he caught her by the waist to stop from going into the forest.

"Papa let go" Eva giggled and laughed as her father put her down. She was about to run again, when her Emmet grabbed the back of her jacket.

"Now Eva I just want you to be careful" Emmet said still holding her. "Now are you listening?" he asked when he got her attention, she nodded. "Accidents can happen you could easily get hurt or lost in there" he pointed the forest.

"And if I see any strangers don't talk to them come straight home" Eva said rolling her eyes at her fathers protectiveness. "Can I go now? Please" she asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Very funny Eva" Emmet said chuckling.

"Listen to your Father Eva" Rose told her daughter as she hugged her husband. Eva nodded to her Mother and looked at them both with puppy dog eyes this time.

"Fine, but stay on the path I marked for you" Emmet told his daughter sternly. Eva nodded and run off into the forest happily. "Watch her and make sure she doesn't get hurt" he said to Alice and Jasper who appeared next to him and Rose watching their niece leave.

(Few hours later)

Eva was having a lot of fun exploring the forest, and she knew her Aunt and Uncle were following her. But she got bored and didn't want to walk back. So she said "Uncle Jasper can I have piggy back ride home?" looking up at her Aunt and Uncle through the trees.

They both jumped down and Jasper bent down so she could climb on to his back for the ride home. Whilst Alice asked her niece "how did you know we were here?"

"Papa and Momma would never let me explore a new forest alone, without being followed" Eva said matter of factly. She rested her head on her Uncles shoulder to take a short nap on the way home. Whilst her Aunt giggled, still wondering how her niece knew it was her and Jasper following her.
