Simple And Sweet (A Sam Pottorff fanfiction)

Were here!

I woke up with Simone shaking me

"LAUREN WERE HERE!" she screamed right in my ear. I stretched and the fact that we were finally here sunk in.

"OMG SIMONE!" I shrieked.

For the next five minutes we were just screaming and freaking out, until we actually had to get off the plane.

We stepped off the plane and the warm California wind softly hit my face. I felt like so dramatic, so I just stood there.

"Let's go man" Simone said breaking my dramatic swag.

"Ok I'm coming"

We walked over to the taxi cab which would take us to our apartment. I was still freaking out and kept punching Simone. I swear she's gonna have a bruise.

"Stop Lauren, were here!!"

We got out of the taxi cab, paid the driver and walked over to our place. Our apartment was on the 12th floor, so we took the elevator up. I got the keys out of my pocket,

"Are you ready?" I asked with the biggest smile possible.

"Yes, I sure am" she smiled back.

I took I deep breath, and opened the door. "Holy shit!" I exclaimed. I dropped the suitcases in front of the door and started jumping.

"I LOVE IT! DONT YOU?" I screamed asking Simone.

"YES ITS AMAZING" she screamed back.

"Let's check out the rooms!" we both ran to the two bedrooms right across from each other. They were both almost the same so it wasn't too hard to choose which will be whose.

"I'm so tired" I yawned. I really was, it was only about 7pm but we were both tired from the flight.

"Let's get something to eat and go to sleep. Then tomorrow we can go to the beach!" Simone suggested, we settled on going to taco bell.

We decided to walk, since it was only 5 minutes away from our place, which was pretty darn awesome.

" So tomorrow we can just get breakfast at Panera Bread, and then head on to the bea..." I just kept nodding but not really listening. 

"Lauren you never listen to me!" She realized I was zoned out.

"Sorry I'm just tired and hungry" which was true, I just wanted a taco in my system. We walked up to the cash register and realized that american taco bells had way more things than the Canadian ones. So I ordered 2 dorito lacos tacos, some supreme nachos, a typhoon freeze and a churro, as you can tell I eat a shit load. It was ok though since Simone also ordered a bunch of things.

We got our order and looked around to find a place to sit. We sat beside the window.

"They have so much stuff here, and back home they literally have nothing!" Simone said while stuffing a burrito in her mouth. I laughed and nodded.

We continued to talk and eat when a group of guys came in, they were all really attractive, but one of them really caught my attention. He has dark curly hair which was covered by a teal beanie, chocolate brown eyes, adorable rosy cheeks, and by what I heard he had the cutest laugh imaginable. I saw him glance at me, so I quickly turned around. I saw that Simone was already giving me 'the look', I giggled.

"Do you see the one with black hair?" she whispered loud enough for me to hear

"yeah,"

" Oh the things I would do to that boy" I started laughing so hard that the slushie started coming out do my nose. Simone laughed at me and I had realized that everybody was staring at us. I ran to the bathroom to clean myself up. Since I was looking down trying to avoid eye contact I bumped into someone and fell flat on my ass. Guess who it was? The guy that I had my eye on. Of course.

"Are you ok?" he giggled and helped me up.

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm so sorry." he laughed.

I then realized I still had the slushie all over my face.

"Its ok, we all have those moments, I Sam by the way" he flashed his perfect teeth at me,

"Im Lauren, um I have to go to the bathroom, thanks again" I smiled and ran to the bathroom.

When I came back Simone was finished with her food, and I only had my slushie to finish, so we settled on going home.

As we were about to leave, I felt a tap on my shoulder; it was Sam.

"Um Lauren, I was wondering if you want to come to the beach with me and my friends tomorrow.." I could tell he was nervous, but why.

"Is that ok with you?" I asked Simone she nodded and I nodded back at Sam.

We exchanged number and me and Simone and I headed back home. oh how I loved knowing that was my home. I took a shower and crashed on my inflatable mattress.

Ok so I know this chapter was quite long and boring but it gets interesting I promise. the next chapter will be written soon:) -author
