Chapter 11

Jay kept going on about how what he did was so horrible as we drove, but he never said exactly what he did. I surely was confused.

Finally Jay and I arrived home and I decided to give Grayson a call

"Hey Indira" Grayson answered on the 3rd dial

"Hey Grayson, i just picked up Jay from the police station and he said whatever he did, he did for me and that it had something to do with you. Do you have any clue what all this about?" I asked trying to remain calm. I didnt want to acuse him of doing something that he didn't do.

"Umm i'm not sure, maybe he might have seen Ethan, we split like an hour after me and you stopped texting. Sorry" he hesitated

"I knew it couldn't have been you hahah" i let out a nervous laugh

But maybe it was? He was hesitating, right?

Soon after Grayson had to leave so we ended our call

"Jay? Can you come here?" I called from the kitchen. Jay was still at mine untill one of his friends gets here to pick him up.

"What's up?" He casually asked

"Please tell me everything that happened" i asked clearly about to get on my knees and beg

"Okay well i was walking along Smith Ave and i saw that friend of yours Gerald"

"Grayson" I interrupted

"Whatever, and he was with this girl and then he kissed her and so i went over to him and smacked him in the face" he answered honestly, almost hysterical.

"Jay! Why would you do that? We arent dating! He can kiss whoever he likes!" I began to yell

What the actual hell? He is honestly so annoying! Like ugh!

"Indi, i know you like him and i didn't want you to get hurt" he spoke quietly

Well thats kinda nice, i guess

"Thanks I appreciate you looking out for me, but seeings as we aren't together he can do whatever he likes" i replied, hating the words coming from my very mouth. ):

Shortly after Jay's friend came to pick him up and i crawled into my room.

I put on some pink frilly shorts on and a black singlet and slid inbetween my sheets. I put my head against the pillow and began to slightly sobb.

Omg here we go!

I heard Mayer's door open and shut and soon enough she was laying in bed next to me.

"Awh hunni whats wrong?" She asked concerned

"Everything is a mess. I'm head over heels for this guy, who doesnt like me back. Who is being punched by my brother and lies to me about it" i cried

I knew i was crying for a reason. He lied to me

"Awh baby girl, doesnt he have a twin? Maybe your brother punched the other one" Mayer told me

She was right. I'm just over thinking.
