Chapter 4

Getting to sleep was harder than I thought, I just kept replaying the events that happened only hours ago in my mind.

I legit just met this extremely handsome guy and his twin brother like today! And I'm already starting the crazy sleepless night cycle.

What a night?

I had just started to drift if into sleep when my phone vibrated on my night stand.

Reading that strangely simple message made the butterflies I already had migrate from the right side of my stomach to the left.

Me-- Goodnight :)

I quickly replied and shut off my phone putting it back on my night stand. So I could get to sleep.

"Indira, wake up" Mayer shook me.

"It's 12:30pm and if you don't wake up I will dragg your sleepy ass down the stairs in a bucket of ice" she threatened

"Okay, okay! What's the big deal? How is me sleeping in effecting you and your daily life?" I snapped pricing how much coffee I needed.

"Well considering I've been babysitting the kids you were supposed to i think it effects my life" she argued walking out.

I forgot to mention I have 3 brothers and my oldest brother Noah, needed me to look after his twins.

I jumped out of bed pulling my knotty hair into a messy bun on the top of my head and then pulling on some sweats and a hoodie.

I raced down stairs greeting the little 4 year olds in the living room.

"I am so sorry Mayer I completely forgot" I smiled whilst apologising, out of breath.

"What you doing Avory?" I asked the little girl who was twisting some sort of plastic, ublec I think.

"Playing" she answered

I got on my knees so give my niece and nephew a hug.

All the girls had left for the day, doing whatever they needed to do, so it was just me and the kids.

We had played so many petty games and watched a few cartoons when we needed to catch our breathes from running around the house.

"Do you guys want something to eat? Pizza? Nachos? Chicken nugget?" I asked the nearly sleeping children.

Avory and Deaquon's mum left them with Noah when they were 18minths, because she couldn't handle the pressure so she moved on and got a new guy, so he depends on me to help him look after them because he someone has to pay their bills. I don't mind, and besides, Luke or Jay would never offer to do that, they are very selfish.

"Nachos please" Daequon answered from the living room.

Noah hasn't done a bad job raising them, because for two 4 year old kids they are very smart.
