Kaleidoscope (Glanny Fanfic)

Glen's POV

Sitting at his bedside, I hold his hands as the doctors frantically try to revive him.

Tears are in Mark's eyes and in mine as we stare at our dying friend, why on Earth would he do this to himself, why would he do this to us!

All we've been through and I will never get to tell him how much I truly love him.

Danny's eyes are closed and his face is going more pale then I could have ever imagined.

If this is the last thing I ever say to him I have to make it feel special.

"I want your fears, your hopes, the whole kaleidoscope, PLEASE JUST COME BACK TO US DANIEL"

I can hardly see him anymore as my eyes are filled with tears, my hands have gone numb and my ears cannot hear a thing. The doctors are saying things but I cannot hear them, is my love still alive?

Mark comes over and wraps his arm around me, "He's still fighting Glen, he won't leave you like this, because he loves you too"

This was the last thing I expected to hear, especially now with all this around me. I want him back even more.

My shoulders are hurting, "Come on Glen we need to step back so they can save him" it's Mark, he's pulling me back but I refuse to leave Danny's side. "It's for the best" his words are muffled, I can't move not now just invade he dies like this.

Finally I step back and he's suddenly surrounded by doctors and nurses.

"WHAT'S GOING ON? SOMEBODY TELL ME! IS HE GOING TO BE ALRIGHT?" I scream in agony as I cannot even see the man I lie as he's lying... Dying...
