Chapter 12

Glen's POV

I can't breath...

This is all my fault...

If only I had told him how I feel...

Then we wouldn't be here in this ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Danny's face has gone so pale...

I am so scared...

"Glen, you okay?"

Stupid question Mark, of course I'm not okay, the man I love could be dying!

"Umm... I think so"

"Well, we're nearly at the hospital"

I nod and go back to staring at Danny...

"Come on Glen, we need to get you checked over, you went into shock at seeing your friend" It's a nurse talking but I can't quite hear her.

"I... I need to stay with him..."

"I'm sorry Glen but you have to come with me, they need to take Danny into intensive care and you're not fit enough right now. We need to get you better too"

Reluctantly, I follow the lady into a small room.

"Umm... miss... will Danny be alright?"

"It's too early to say dear, but the doctors will help him. Anyway, call me Lisi"

Her name is beautiful.

"Okay"

She tells me to lay down on the bed and have some rest.

"I will let you know if anything happens with Danny, but for now you need to try and get some sleep"

I close my eyes, and then I see him in my arms... dead...

I quickly open my eyes to see that the lights have gone down a bit, Lisi hasn't come to get me about Danny but I want to see him.

But then I fall back to sleep...
