“Daddy!” I screamed gleefully while running into my dad's outstretched arms, ready for my hug, as he walked through the door coming home from work.

"Pumpkin!" He yelled back at me, spinning me around and kissing my cheek.

My dad put me down and went into the kitchen were my mum was cooking dinner. I followed him into the kitchen, mainly to see what she was cooking us for dinner.

"Hello Sirius." She acknowledged him and he kissed her on her forehead afraid that he would mess up her concentration, because when she is concentrating people don't mess up her concentration unless you have a death wish. And trust me a person with a death wish still wouldn't want to mess my mum up.

"I need to talk to you after dinner" He urgently whispers into her hair but loud enough that I can hear.

"Okay" She replies looking not too happy about it.

Since when have my parents kept secrets from me? They always tell me. I'm only four but they always tell me no matter what it is.

* Dinner Time *

“Alex! Dinner is ready!" I hear my mum's voice carry up the stairs into my room.

“Coming!" I replied running out of my room and down the stairs, taking two at a time.

I arrived in the kitchen to see new faces and to the smell of chili. The couple at the table stared at me expediently. The woman was round and had bright red hair and bright brown eyes and the man had red hair and blue eyes. The other man was non other than my Uncle Remus not really my uncle, but he was my dad's best friend along with James Potter.

"Uncle Remus!" I yelled running towards him. He picked me up and gave me the biggest hug I have ever gotten besides my dad and mum. He sat me down on his lap.

"Alexa. Have you been a good girl for your mum and dad?" he asked me while his brown eyes were string at something different. That worries me. He always makes a point to look the person he is talking to directly in the eyes.

“Yes." I answered surveying the room to see the expressions of the people that are sitting at the dining room table. The red heads had a worried look in their eyes, my mum had tears rolling down her face, and my father looked worried. I am officially scared. My mum never cries. Not even at a funeral. And my dad, well he never looks worried. Never. What is going on? I'm really scared now.

"Hello, honey. I'm Mrs. Weasley. I'm a friend of your mum and dad. “The round woman said.

"And I'm Mr. Weasley. " The red haired guy said. They exchange nervous glances.

"Mum. Dad. What is going on?" When they didn't answer I looked to Uncle Remus. When he didn't answer I got really nervous. I have this gut feeling something bad is going to happen.

“How old are you dear?" Mrs. Weasley asked.

“Four." I answer a slight quiver in my voice.

"Hey, Alexandria, you don't have to be scared. Everything will be alright." Mum says like she can read my thoughts, a tear running down her face. “Mr. and Mrs. Weasley are here to help us."

“Help us with what?" I ask. I'm getting really scared. Uncle Remus notices I'm scared and pulls me in closer to his chest like he is trying to protect me. But what is he going to protect me from?

“Well daddy is going on a trip for a little while and we don't know when he is coming back and the Weasleys have offered that we stay at their house while he is away so we can sort things out." She answers my question with.

“Sort what things out?"

"Well what your mother is trying to say is that your daddy will be very happy if you both stay at the Weasley's until he gets back." Uncle Remus finally answers.

Two knocks are heard at the door. All color drains from mum's face. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley looked straight at the door as if death itself has arrived. My dad got up and opened the door. I tensed. Uncle Remus holds me tighter.

" Hello Mr. Black. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you will and can be used against you in the court. You are charged with the Murder of 12 muggles, James Potter, Peter Pettigrew and twelve muggles." The scary ministry guys said. They looked scary.

"Stop." He said before they could bind his wrists together. “There is a few last things I want to say. To Cassie, my loving wife, I love you with all my heart and I hope you still love me and I hope you always do. Remus, my best friend, through thick and thin you have always been there for me and I hope you take care of my wife and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, I hope you care for my family as I do and please never let my daughter never forget me. And lastly, my beautiful daughter, Alexandria. I hope you know I love you and that you will always love me and never forget me. Please be good for the Weasleys for me." He walks over to me and drops a necklace into my hands. Its a crescent moon on a silver chain.

When the ministry guys took him away, I let the tears fall.
