“Daddy! Daddy, no! “The four year old me screamed as the ministry guys arrested my dad.
“Don’t leave me! I love you!”
I woke up with a jolt and my head collided into another. “Ow” I heard coming from the culprit of the head but while I cringed. I opened my eyes to see a pair of warm brown eyes glaring at me jokingly.
“Are you okay? I heard you mumbling and tossing in your sleep.” My friend George Weasley asked while looking at me worriedly.
“I’m fine.” I tell him even though it is a lie.
“Oh. Okay.” He tells me with this look that tells me he didn’t believe it one bit but didn’t want to push the issue. “Well breakfast is ready.” He walked out of my room rubbing while rubbing his head. I guess I hit him really hard with my head. Well I always knew I had a hard head.
I got up and made my way to where my change of clothes where and went to the bathroom. I stared at the reflection that stared back. I look so much like my dad. Except I have the green eyes that my mother have. I took a shower and got changed. I heard a knock on the door and heard my mum’s voice from the other side “Hurry up, Alex. Breakfast is ready.”
“Coming” I replied. I hurried to my room and grabbed my trunk and sprinted to the kitchen and sat down. Midnight, my black cat, jumped into my lap and sat down.
“Morning, Alex.” Mrs. Weasley greeted.
“Morning.”
George sat on the right side of my while my mother sat to the left of me.
“Good morning, honey.” My mother greeted fixing her light brown hair. She kissed my cheek.
“Morning. What’s for breakfast?” I asked Mrs. Weasley.
“The usual.”
“Ron, are you looking forward to your first year at Hogwarts?” My mum asked him while he approached the kitchen table and took a seat across from me.
“Well since he learned the spell to turn Scrabbers yellow he should be good.” Fred stated from the other side of George.
“I asked Ron, not you George.” My mum told George.
“Nervous really” Ron told her.
“There is no need to be nervous, Ronald. I still remember the first time I entered the Great Hall. And I also remember the friends I met.” She told him. My mum, she always knew how to get rid of the nerves and would also tell people how it is no matter what.
“Breakfast is ready.” Mrs. Weasley said.
*King’s Cross*
“Bloody muggles.” I murmured underneath my breath as the Weasleys and I made our way to platform nine and three quarters.
“King’s Cross packed with muggles of course.” Mrs. Weasley said in annoyance. “What’s the platform again?”
“Nine and three quarters.” Ginny, the youngest Weasley, informed her mum.
“Okay here we go.” We stopped at platform of nine and ten. “Percy, you go first.” Mrs. Weasley instructs the curliest of the Weasleys. He goes through the platform.
“What pranks do you want to pull this year?” George questions Fred and me.
“Well-“Fred begins but was interrupted by Mrs. Weasley saying “Fred your turn.”
“I’m not Fred, I’m George. And you call yourself our mum.” He starts to go towards the middle of the column but just before he goes he turns around and yells “Just joking. I am Fred.”
