Your point of view
As I was walking Newt came up to me and started talking. We were getting along great, then he slipped his hand into mine causing me to blush and I noticed him blushing to. The whole group was walking and Sonya turned around and saw me holding Newt's hand. She made a face at me causing me to blush harder, I knew I would be hearing more about this later. I hear some movement in a bush though everyone was was talking or focusing on the path. I heard it again and looked up at Newt, I think he heard it too. One thing was on my mind, cranks. I let go of Newt's hand and ran to Harriet.
"I heard something, I don't think we are alone," I said quickly.
"I don't think so but we should scope the area," was her response.
They carefully walked around with their guns.
"Y/n, your just being paranoid," Sonya said.
"No, I'm not I know what I heard," I defended.
"You little girls should be careful, their are some crazy people around here," a third voice said joining the conversation. The figure was a tall male, he had ratty close and no nose, one eye was blood shot the other, well their was no other just a scarred and red flesh. He then let out a loud sickly laugh that turned into a cough. He then coughed  more causing blood to go everywhere.
"Gotta watch out for Rose, she took my nose I suppose. Rose took my nose I suppose and it really blows. Get it? You both have pretty noses. Yours is my favorite," he said as he pointed at my nose.
"That joke is pretty funny it just needs a punch line,"I said my voice held steadier then I thought. "Lucky for you I have one," after I said that I punched him straight across the face. Sonya got her gun and shot at him causing the big and crazy man to fall. Then all of a sudden more crazies came out all, some girls some boys and of all ages and sizes. The others still had no idea what was going on. Emma would've been proud of that.
I took a deep breath before screaming at the top of my lungs,"crazy alert!"
All eyes were on me, drawing the attention to me would probably by the others some time. For some reason in every encounter the crazies all loved me the best. One women who is missing her two front teeth and the rest are different shades of yellow.brown, and black. Grabbed me from behind while a man with scars all over his face knocked away Sonya's gun and grabbed her.
Sonya looked at me and said, "this is all your fault, if only you hadn't told us to check we could have been with the others and stand a chance! If you hadn't screamed they wouldn't have attacked us first,"!
I was so hurt I was doing this for the others and it would not have happened if they listened. I told her this and she rolled her eyes at me. I did nothing wrong and I got so mad.
"Now time for us to go," the crazy lady said before yanking my hair hard. Oh, no she didn't. I don't let anyone touch my hair unless they have permission. I got so mad especially with Sonya being mad at me. I lost it and stomped on the lady's foot and I heard something crack. Then she loosened her grip to clutch her foot, I punched her and she fell back. She seemed mad then before I knew it she had me pinned to the ground. I slipped a hand lose and grabbed Sonya's gun and hit the lady with the handle, she fell to the ground unconscious.
"Nobody touches my hair and gets away with it," I said. Then Sonya elbowed the guy in the gut and I tripped him knocking him out when his head hit the rock.
Then I realized Sonya was trying to make me mad so my strength would kick in.
"I know exactly what you did, and I love you for it," I say to Sonya. We get up and run to the group. We notice them in a similar situation that we were in, Harriet was fine she just shot a crank. I notice a crank was attacking Newt so I got up and knocked the crank away still having my strength. Everyone agrees simultaneously to get up and run. We try to find shelter. In the distance I see a building that looks vacant and stable I point it out and we run toward it.
Right before we make it a weak building started to rumble. I was right under it everything went in slow motion. I hear someone yell 'y/n' but I don't see who I can't move. Next thing I know someone shoved me to the ground, then the building collapsed separating me and everyone. Well, not everyone I turn my head and see Newt he was the one that shoved me out of the way.
"Thanks," I say to him, "but now your stuck here with only me, and you could have gotten crushed. Are you crazy? You need to be more careful."
"You should worry about yourself," Newt said laughing slightly.
Authors note it probably should have been two parts oh well. What is gonna happen to you and Newt. I'm going to st. Augustine today.
