Chapter 6

I started to do my work, then I noticed a tap on my shoulder. It was that girl Alexa. "Mind if I work with you?" She asked politely.

I gave a small smile, and nodded. "Of course not!" I said. She sat next to me and started work with me.

I picked up the glass of water and tried to put it in the tube, but my hands were shaking. "Oh, Cayden, no you have to do it like this." She said putting her hands on mine.

She was gesturing while pouring it in. I looked at her as she was doing it. She looked at me, smiling. "What?" She asked giggling.

I shook my head and focused. She put it down and let go. The bell rang and we all got up. "Sit down class! The bell doesn't dismiss you, I do!" The teacher said.

The class groaned. After ten minutes, she let us go. I walked with Alice in the hallway. "Hey, mind if I borrow him for a sec?" Alexa asked, pulling my arm.

She pulled me aside and spoke. "So, there's this dance at school Saturday night, and I wanted to know if you wanna come" She said biting her lip for hope. I gave in. "Okay!" I said nodding.

I walked back to Alice, which was the next class. "That girl, was totally hitting on you!" Alice said laughing. "Oh, hush!" I said pushing her arm gently.

*Alexa's P.O.V*

"Alice better not be with my man!" I said angrily. "Babe, relax. Plus you don't even know the guy!" My best friend Raven said. I looked up and she was making out with her girlfriend Diamond.

I never get any love and affection.

"Cayden is so hot though" I whined dragging the words out. "Did you ask him to the dance that's coming in a week?" Diamond asked.

I nodded. "Yes, and he said he's going." I said. "Then ask him to be your date. No, too forward. Get to know him better, go to get sushi after class." Raven said shrugging.

My eyes brighten. "Raven, your a genuine genius!" I shouted. I ran to class and thought about him all day.

* "Cayden's P.O.V" *

So, I have to find out, who I'm going to be roommates with. "Who are my roommates miss?" I asked the lady in the front desk.

"Kevin and Nathan, room 207!" She said with a boring tone. I went to go find it and already I heard yelling.

I opened the door and saw popcorn every, them playing video games, blankets, pillows, action figures, everything on the floor.

"Uh, hi?" I said like a question. "Who the hell are you?" One of them asked, getting close to my face. "Cayden Colemen!" I yelled trying not to get beat up.

"You new here?" They asked. I nodded. "You get the top bunk." The guy said walking back to play video games.

I set my bags down and watched them play. It was Black ops lll! "Can I play?" I asked sitting next to them. I got a controller and started playing.

After two hours this happen. "Boom! Beat both you chumps four times in a row!"I yell in excitement. We all laughed and Nathan got up to go the fridge.

He got three beers and passed me and Kevin one. They opened their's and drank it while I just stared at my can. "What's wrong, Colemen?" Kevin asked.
