Chapter 4

Leo's POV

Leo felt this way after a long time. As he hugged Piper and Jason he felt wanted and loved. He didn't want to lose these people. They were all he had.

Though he had thought he had Hazel for a moment but the next moment she was gone with Frank. Wow. She was really messed up. She gave Leo mixed signs. Leo was confused about her, completely.

First she hugged him and told him that he was amazing, which he didn't get that often. Next minute she walked off with her boyfriend without saying anything.

He walked back to his room. On the way he passed Hazel's room. He thought about knocking but then gave up on the idea and walked on. Suddenly he heard a voice, "Can I talk to you?" Hazel stood at the door of her room.

Her hair was open and her eyes shone like the moon. Leo felt his knees melt. He held onto a chair. "Yeah?" He asked. She closed her eyes and then blurted, "What did Khione mean when she said you love me?" "Uh- she meant that I l-like you a lot like a friend you know. Love you like a friend. Like Piper or Jason" Leo stammered.

Hazel rolled her eyes. "Come on repair boy, what does it mean?" Leo felt anger surge through him. Hazel was amazing but she was really getting on his nerves with all these feelings and mixed signs.

"How do you care. You should be with Frank and be happy" Leo said and stormed off into his room.

He sat on his bed, feeling bad about what had just happened. He shouldn't have shouted at Hazel. It wasn't her fault. Her life had been amazing with Frank as her boyfriend but then suddenly Leo had come in who was so much like Sammy, her earlier boyfriend and Leo had fallen for her. She too was attracted towards him but that was purely because he resembled the boy she actually had a crush on. She needn't reciprocate his feelings and Leo had no right to blame her. She deserved to be happy, with Frank.

Leo decided to go and apologise. He got up from his bed and started to go out when there was a knock on the door.

He opened it and the next thing he knew, "Ouch" and he was lying on the ground.
