Chapter 7

I decided to finish this story today. Oh and I put that fight to spice up things a bit, it was getting too cheesy and sappy. :)

Leo's POV

The last thing Leo remembered was being swatted off his feet by a fire breathing monster. It was just like him to black out and not be able to help his friends, when he could. Hey, he was the best with fire. You had to hand that to him.

Suddenly he saw a white wall. Another dream. But this time Leo was actually walking in the dream. He kept on walking until he came to a waterfall. Under the waterfall was a small picnic table laid with his favourite stuff.

On one side was an empty chair and on the other side sat the most beautiful woman Leo had ever come across, while Leo had seen all the girls of Aphrodite cabin.

That's when he realised that the woman was no other than Aphrodite. Her hair was braided around her face, and it changed colour every second, from brown to black to ash.

Her eyes were light brown, and deep, as if you could swim in them forever. Her nose was perfectly pointed and her makeup was exact. Her lipstick was a soothing red, not the one that saleswomen put that make you wanna stick a dagger into your eyes.

She wore a white gown with frills at the end, and she truly looked like a goddess.

"Piper's mom?" Leo asked. "Yeah. Technically I'm your step mother too" she replied. "As a result your not my favourite demigod. However, I'm quite interested in your messy love life. Aah, what was her name again? Yeah, Hazel Levesque. You're quite interesting, you both like each other but are too naive to realise about the other's feelings. Young love."

Aphrodite spoke as if Leo's life was one of the more interesting school projects. Leo had loved one project, in which they had to make a model of a car. Leo had felt really special that day when the teacher had made the whole class applaud his SUV.

"Nevertheless I have finally decided, that I'm bored of this and I want you two together" Aphrodite chirped. "Hey, it's my life" Leo barked.

"Yeah yeah, but what would your life be without a little love? Everyone wants me. Everyone needs me" she said smiling at her perfectly polished nails.

"Ok so Leo Valdez, have you decided how you're gonna propose her?" Aphrodite asked. "Propose?" Leo choked. "Holy Hephaestus, I'm not gonna marry her. What do you mean by propose?" "Aah, you annoy me just like your father" Aphrodite rolled her eyes, that maddened Leo but he was too mesmerized by her beauty to say anything. "I meant, you know date. What do you kids call it these days? Yeah, how are you going to ask her out' she said. 'Well I haven't really thought about it, I mean in the morning she said that she has never loved any one except Frank, that should eliminate all possibilities of her having feeling for me" Leo replied.

Aphrodite shrugged and patted Leo, though he couldn't figure out why. "You're completely unaware of her feelings aren't you?' she said, he was forced to nod as it was true. He always thought Hazel thought of him only as a friend. Though he had always wished for more, he never thought a girl as beautiful as Hazel would ever like him.

"Do I have to shout it out from Olympus? SHE LIKES YOU, YOU FOOL." Aphrodite screamed, clearly frustrated. Leo nodded, the goddess could be pretty scary when she was angry. He had thought she was all calm and poised and never got angry because that would bring wrinkles to her perfect face.

She took a sip of her tea and then looked at Leo, who was extremely confused. "What?' Aphrodite asked. "Wouldn't you help me out with the war? The doors of death? I mean isn't that more important presently?' Leo asked. "No honey, I prefer to stay out of wars. I am clearly the goddess of love, so my actions are completely justified. However, if you really want my help then remember that on your journey you will face an important choice. You'll have to choose between love and what is right and if it was up to me I would choose love. Just keep that in mind and get out of my face' her face turned to irritation again.

Leo was so used to beautiful girls being annoyed with him.
