Another fact about myself is that I do not live in Boston! So I cannot be Rick Riordan!

The dinner horn blared sending Leo falling over his shoes backwards. "Isn't it kinda early for dinner?" he asked. "Yah, its only about three-ish. Maybe Chiron wants to make an announcement?" I wondered out loud. "Maybe." Leo agreed.

I maneuvered my way toward the bunker's door.

"You know that you should really clean up right?" I smirked. "But that would be so much work!" he whined. "How about every day after chores, I help you clean up? that way you won't be lonely." "I would like that." He said.

We exited the bunker and started to jog in the direction of the camp. Bunker nine was a little farther away from the edge of the woods than most people think, so it took us about ten minutes to get there.

Everyone was at the base of half-blood  hill. There was something happening on the top of it next to Thalia's pine. The dragon was breathing fire so quickly that his flames were getting weaker and weaker with every breath.

Many of the demigods were in their battle gear. I suspected that they had come straight from practicing for capture the flag tonight.

I looked around at all the people just watching this happen. There was a half blood up on that hill!

I took a deep breath, and charged upward. Because five years ago I was the newbie up there fighting for my life.

And I'm pretty sure that I would have loved some assistance killing the drachane that had been stalking me since we left the house behind us. She was what led the cyclops to David and I. From that moment on, I swore that I would help any demigod who needed help. From the moment that I stuck my knife down to the hilt in her disgusting flesh.

I rubbed my finger, and my knife appeared from thin air.

I got to the top of the hill, and there were two girls and a guy fighting for their life against about four hellhounds.

I ran to the first girl who looked about ten with darker skin, and black hair that was held back from her face by a pony tail.

I ran at top speed, and jumped onto the massive beast. I tried to claw my way to the top of the jumbo dog, but he was moving to much; chasing the poor girl.

I slipped off the dog and landed hard on my butt.

I realized that the girl was the only chance that we had to kill it. "Hey!" I shouted to her. She looked my way. "Catch!" I threw her my knife, and ran around the hellhound screaming insults that were once yo momma jokes. "You're so fat! when you go to the beach all the whales start singing 'we are family even though your bigger than me'."

The big black head snapped my way, and it slowly stalked my way. "You're so fat that people run laps around you to get exercise!" I yelled. I took a step behind me, and fell on my butt once again.

I looked behind myself, and saw that the dude who had been on the hill had taken care of his hellhound, and was now moving on to the second one.

Leo had followed me up on the hill, and was hitting the last one with a huge flaming hammer; while the last girl stood off to the side stating at him dreamily.

I turned back to the task at hand. I had thrown my knife to that girl; what a stupid move that was.

The hellhound was on top of me now. I scrunched my eyes closed as tight as I could because there was no way I could get myself out of this situation without getting killed.

Then there was nothing but warm sunshine above me. I snuck a peak at the world above myself, and all I saw was that little girl with an outstretched arm. The boy had run over to help, but his assistance was not needed.

She held out my knife, and it was covered in yellow monster dust.

I took the knife, and stood up on my own.

"Hey Sam. Long time no see." I looked up and saw Jason Grace.

"Jason!" I yelled and gave him a flying attack hug.

"Sam, I would like you to meet Tanya Embers. We think that she's Greek. along with Krystal Baron over there." he jabbed a thumb it her direction.

Krystal... that name sounded familiar.
