Michael Bohn
"For the last time, Ty, I'm not interested in dating at the moment, and I'm especially not interested in dating your band mate." You told your best friend, Tyler, who had been trying to set you up with someone in his band since you and your douchebag ex broke up.
"I'm not saying you have to date him!" Tyler said defensively. You narrowed your eyes at him. "All I'm saying is that if you wanted to I would gladly pay for a hotel room for you two."
"I've never met the guy, Tyler! God, you really think I'd just hook up with someone I barely know?" You were slightly offended, though you tried not to be because you HAD hooked up with someone you barely knew before.
"Do you not remember how we started hanging out?" Tyler asked. You knew he'd bring that up.
"That was one time."
"Two actually, if you count the next morning. And I'm sorry princess, actually I'm not, but I've already set it up."
"Tyler!"
"And also he thinks you're really excited for this, so if you could at least act like you don't hate my guts, that would be great."
"Don't push your luck, buddy."
...
"Well, how do I look?" You asked Tyler. You had been trying on outfits trying to get ready for this damn date.
"That's the one. For sure."
"Okay." You wiped your sweaty palms on your jeans and sat next to Tyler. Michael would be here in a few moments.
"Are you nervous, y/n?" Tyler teased.
"Well, yeah. I mean I've never met him, Ty! He could be a murderer!"
"He's my best friend, Y/N. He's not a murderer." Tyler laughed.
"He should be here by now." You mumbled, looking at the time on your watch.
"It's a minute past the time he was supposed to be here."
"And that's a minute longer I have to wait to get this thing over with." Just then there was a knock on your door. Tyler got up to answer it for you.
"Hey man!" He hugged him and let him in. You'd seen pictures of Michael before but you had to admit, he was cuter in person. "Michael, this is y/n. Y/n, this is Michael."
You stood up to shake hands with him, forgetting your palms were sweaty and immediately feeling embarrassed, though he didn't seem to notice.
"It's wonderful to finally meet you." He said with a smile. He handed you a single rose that you hadn't noticed he'd been holding. "This is for you. Sorry if it's corny or whatever." He nervously chuckled and scratched the back of his neck. You couldn't help it, you found him extremely cute.
"Uh, no, it's perfect. Thanks." What was wrong with you? You asked yourself. This was totally unlike you to be so awkward around guys. Normally it just came naturally to you.
"Well, I'll let you two get to it then." Tyler gave Michael a quick hug and pulled you in for one next, "I'm not ready to be an uncle yet, be safe." He whispered in your ear. You bit your lip to keep from saying something snarky.
"Shall we go?" Michael asked. You nodded and followed him out to his car.
"So what's the plan?" You asked him as you walked.
"I thought maybe dinner and a movie. Kinda cliché, but I'm not very original with dates." He laughed nervously.
"That sounds good to me." You smiled as he opened your door for you. So he was a gentlemen. As you got into the car you turned to see Tyler peeking out the window, watching you leave like a dog does. He just grinned and waved.
You got to the restaurant, which was incredibly nice by the way. Apparently Michael had made reservations.
"What's the name?" The hostess asked.
"Bohn." Michael replied.
"We're sorry, but that reservation was made for an hour ago." She said, looking at her computer.
"No, I'm certain I made it for 8." Michael said.
"If you would like to wait 20-30 minutes we can get you a table."
Michael looked at you and you nodded. "Alright. We'll wait."
You sat down amongst the other waiting people. "I'm really sorry, y/n. I swear I made it for 8."
"It's fine, Michael." You smiled at him. You were really hungry, but you didn't want to make Michael feel bad. "Why so fancy though? I feel seriously underdressed." You looked around at all the rich-bitches in their posh clothing and scrunched up noses in your direction.
"We can ditch this place and go to Taco Bell." He suggested.
"Hell yeah." You grinned. He took your hand with a smirk and led you out of the building and back towards his car. He opened the door for you again, and you went to Taco Bell.
You laughed and talked all night. You were at Taco Bell for probably two hours, not even realizing you had been there so long.
"Holy shit." Michael said suddenly, looking at his phone.
"What?" You asked, a stupid smile still on your face from the joke Michael had just told.
"We've been here for two hours." He laughed.
"For real? Wow." You chuckled. "I guess it's too late for a movie then, huh?"
"Probably."
"Well, I've got to be to work pretty early tomorrow." You frowned. You genuinely enjoyed your time with Michael.
"I'll take you home then."
When you got back to your place, Michael walked you up to your door.
"I really enjoyed tonight, y/n." He said, nervously scratching the back of his neck again. You thought it was really cute when he did that.
"Me too. I really didn't want to come tonight, but I'm glad I did." You admitted.
"Goodnight, y/n."
"Goodnight, Michael."
"When can I see you again?" He asked with a hopeful grin.
"Tomorrow?" You smirked.
"Perfect." He leaned in and kissed the top of your head. "I'll see you tomorrow then."
"Don't make any reservations though. I like fast food just as much if not more than fancy food."
"My wallet is happy to hear." He winked and leaned in for a proper kiss.
"YES! I KNEW YOU TWO WOULD WORK OUT. AWWW YESS!" You heard through your door. Tyler was still there. You kissed Michael goodnight again, trying to ignore Tyler singing about being the "love master."
"You're an idiot." You told Tyler when you walked in after Michael left.
"No, I'm the lovemaster!"
