Stiles being Stiles thinks maybe there is a way he can help. Maybe his soulbond with Derek means he can do other supernatural things. He wants to do everything thing he can to help. Having a human mate makes alphas look vulnerable. Humans also can do a lot of good because they can handle the dangerous things that werewolves can't, like wolvesbane and mountain ash. Some can also do magic. They just have to release their magic. Stiles is hoping that going to deaton might help him figure out what he can do. He is also gonna ask Derek to help him learn self defense techniques. He also has tons of questions about mates and things like that to asks the two of them. He decides asking Derek first since it will take the least time.
Stiles headed to the Hale house, when he got there Derek was waiting outside for him. When Stiles reaches Derek he gives him a quick peck on the lips.
"Hey Derek can you teach me some self defense techniques?". "sure Stiles better safe than sorry."
They start little for today.
First Derek teaches Stiles how to deflect punches. How to catch them and avoid them if he can't catch them. Stiles fails many times but he knows Derek will be patient with him and that he wouldn't hurt him on purpose. It takes a few hours but Stiles is catching on so Derek calls it a day and they will continue to work on it little by little each day. They go inside and snuggle together on the couch and watch some TV. After a while they are stretched on the couch with Stiles on top of Derek's chest. "Stiles , I really do love you. You are the best mate I could ask for . The sweetest and most loving. You understand all I've gone through and you don't punish me for things i can't control" " I know Derek I love you to and I'll always be with you."
