The third incident happens when malia falls down the stairs and twists her ankle. Derek and the pack rush over to her, Derek takes her ankle and takes some pain. yes he took most of the pain but it still wasn't healed, the pack started to wonder. why wasn't it healing correctly? They started to wander if maybe he had to have one of the pack members touch him for the healing to complete. So each member took turns, starting with Liam. well Liam's touch didn't work. so Kira tried, Again it didn't work, Scott tried and again malia wasn't healing, Lydia tries and again no change. then stiles steps up and it works. well the pack starts to wander what's so special about stiles that he is the only one able to help Derek heal.
Both Derek and stiles have feelings for each other but neither know that the other feels the same. Scott knows stiles likes Derek and starts to wander if maybe Derek feels the same for stiles and wonders if Derek knows why stiles is the only one that can help.
little does Scott know that no Derek doesn't know why but wants to know himself. yes he likes stiles but doesn't think stiles would ever like him back so the issue of stiles being the only one to help initiate the healing process makes Derek extremely confused.
