"Good morning, Father."

"So you're finally here. Take a seat." Without glancing up, Jude flicked his hand towards a seat at the table.

"As you wish, your majesty," I was trembling with anger. He wouldn't even look at me, his own daughter!

I took a seat next to Levy, and Gray sat down besides me. After seeing me sit down, the nobles started to file in the seats at the grand table.

Every eye watched King Jude as he took the first bite of food, and soft sighs of relief could be heard.

Rolling my eyes, I picked up my polished shell spoon and started to eat my cereal. After glancing quickly at the King, Gray leaned close to me.

"What are you planning on doing today?" Gray asked.

"Eh, nothing much. Levy, Erza, and I might ride the hippocampus in the stables." I gave a bored shrug. "Or whatever we feel like doing."

"Awe come on! You always do that!" Grinning mischievously, his eyes took on a familiar glint. Oh no, I thought, giving a huge sigh. Not another one of his adventures.

"Wanna explore the town tonight?"

Wait what?? Explore the town? I've always wanted to do that but..0

"Sorry Gray, but you know my father would never allow that."

"...We could sneak out,"

"Huh?? Gray you know your plans always backfire!"

"Not this one. I've got a good feeling about this." He smirked at me.

Finishing my cereal, I grabbed a strawberry from the fruit bowl on the table and got up from the table.

"Lucy come on! It'll be fun!" I shushed him.

"Fine fine! Follow me so we can talk about it." Then I motioned for Levy and Erza to follow us.

"Where are we going?" Erza mouthed.

"Just follow me and you'll see." I replied.

Once we had exited the dining room doors, I led them to my sleeping quarters and sat down on my couch of soft coral.

"So what's the plan?" Gray asked excitedly.

"What plan?" Levy and Erza said at the same time. They looked at each other with absurd looks and burst out laughing.

"Shhh!" I whispered. "Gray and I are planning to sneak out to the town around dusk!"

"What?! Lucy that's crazy! Your father would never allow that!" Erza exclaimed.

"That's why we're sneaking out," Gray said.

"No. No way. We could get in serious trouble for this!" Erza tossed her hair.

"It could be fun.." Levy said hesitantly.

"Not you too Levy! Ugh whatever, I'll go."
