SO I was just surfing through my library and I saw the cover for lightsaber-'s book, froot, and I decided to make a tutorial about it.

First and foremost, open picmonkey.

Then open the template below.

Open the background you want and adjust it over the template. Try to cover most of the template, but not all of it. Set the image to screen.

Then press geometric and select the square. You'll see two boxes, Color 1 and Color 2. Color 2 will be set to black, and Color 1 will be transparent. Set the color to black. Then adjust the overlay so it covers the box in the Polaroid image.

Then open the second image. I just made it black and white, but you can do whatever you want. Also make sure that it's a square. if not, you can just crop it. adjust it so it covers the black box.

Finally set it to screen so it only covers the black box.

Once your done, add your title and your done! Your final product should look like this:
