Escape To The Woods: A LeafyIsHere Fanfiction.Chapter One~
(TRIGGER WARNING!!!)
There are a lot of swear words in this fanfiction.... It's about LeafyIshere, aka Calvin, so what do you expect? Also, since this story is about her living with an abusive family, there will be a lot of self-harm and beatings in this story. Don't like, then don't read.Analia's POV:
CRASH
I flinched as the glass mug came in contact with the wall behind me, three centimeters away from hitting my head. "And never come back!!!" My father roared at me, as I struggled to keep my tears in and ran outside.
I always found the woods across the street of my house so peaceful, especially in times like these. I ran into the woods, and kept on running until my foot got caught onto something, and I ended up tumbling down a small hill landing flat on my back with a clear view of the sky. I grabbed a handful of leaves, and lifted my hand above me, letting go, as I let them fall swiftly on top of me. My long dyed dark red hair was spread out on the ground surrounding me, as my green eyes gazed up at the tall green trees hovering and swaying slightly above me, and the sky as small clouds peacefully float by.
By now, I thought that my alcoholic father and my drug-addicted mother would stop getting to me, especially since I've already spent 17 years of my life with them. But, as you can tell, it still brings tears to my eyes whenever they do something to me. I have straight B's in all of my classes, and no matter how hard I try to succeed in this cruel world, my parents always try to bring me down. I reach over and slightly brush my fingers over my fresh cuts on my left wrist as I wince at the pain, smiling slightly at the numbness it brought my arm, as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
I woke up to the sound of a twig snapping and I jolted upright and looked around. I saw the outline of a figure walking around aimlessly in the distance, slowly getting closer to me. It was already dark out and my parents were probably passed out on the kitchen table or couch by now, so this was a good time to head back home. I started to scoot backwards, hoping the figure didn't notice me yet, and as soon as I made my way onto my feet I dashed back home running at full speed.
Once I got to my house I climbed up the small oak tree that was planted close to the window of my room, and slowly made my way up it. Once I got high enough to reach my window that was on the second floor of the house, I lifted it high enough for me to fit through, and gazed back to the woods. I tried to see if the person I saw earlier was still there, but I couldn't see anything, so I quietly entered my room. I went into the bathroom that was connected to my bedroom and took a quick shower to rinse off all the dirt my hair collected when I was laying down on the ground, and dried myself off after I was done. I brushed my teeth, and after I put some Neosporin on my cuts, I flopped on my bed and fell asleep.
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, singing their beautiful songs and relaxed as the soothing noise traveled into my ears.... Not. My alarm started blaring and I quickly swatted at it pushing it off the nightstand, turning it off before it woke my parents up as I got up and started to get ready for school. I did the daily morning routine, wearing tight black jeans and a loose white Nirvana shirt to go with it. I put on a little makeup, and walked out the house in 20 minutes flat with my black leather drawstring backpack slung across my shoulders, making my way to school.
I don't have many friends at school. In fact, I only have one, and his name is Jared. We've been friends ever since I can remember, and he was the only one who was there for me when I got beat up by my parents, or made fun of at school. But even when I try to explain to him what my parents do to me, or how people at school try to beat me up, he just doesn't understand. Being the perfect rich kid, I wouldn't expect any more from him. He doesn't exactly understand how bad things can happen to anybody.
