One night, I decided to see how far I can go with my new powers. I looked at all the spell books I've collected and found something similar. It is very interesting on how these witches knew this spell. They all have a pentagon on the last page, summoning beelzebub.

"So there really is a ritual to summon him" I thought. "All I need is, blood of a lamb, a drawn pentagon in my own blood, and the sacrifice of an innocent. And what is more innocent, than the blood of an infant. There's a village not far from here, I could probably grab one from there."

I snuck into the village to steal the materials that I needed for my ritual. The goat was easy, all I had to do was glamour the shepherd and take the goat. The baby though, was tricky. There has been wolf attacks lately, so they are protecting their children by sleeping with them in the same bed. Luckily, there was a single mother who was walking out at night with her babe.

I crept behind her, and before she had the chance to turn around to see what she was sensing, I covered her mouth to keep her from screaming, and dug into her neck. I fed on her until she was weak enough to loosen her grip on the baby. I caught the baby before she dropped it on to the floor, and finished feeding on her. The babe was still sound asleep, not knowing that it's mother had died right in the middle of the village square. I left her there as I ran with the goat and the baby into the woods, far enough away from the village. I set the baby down along with the goat, and I began to prepare for the ritual. I sliced my palm, letting the blood splatter towards the ground, and I pictured the Pentagram in my mind, and it appeared on the ground drawn in my own blood. I looked at my cut hand as it was healed almost instantly. I snapped my fingers and one of the spell books appeared in front of me.

I read what I had to do next, which was to put the goat in the middle of the pentagram, and leave it there. The goat is suppose to symbolize that you are summoning something that it is not human. And the baby sacrifice is to show the gift the summoner brings as a reminder that he/she no longer has the innocence that they were born with. Before I started the summoning, Death appeared in front of me. (My version of death is from the show "Supernatural")

"What exactly do you think you are doing Marcus?" Death asked.

"I am summoning Lucifer himself. I have business with him."

"And you think that he will just come whenever you summon him? He is not that foolish. But I do not mistake you for a fool either, so you must have some back up plan."

"Indeed I do my old friend. If you did not notice the past few centuries, I have been collecting souls and spell books from witches. I am more immortal than any creature that walks this earth."

"But there is one thing you can't do, and that is tricking Satan himself."

"You're welcome to just stand there and watch me try since you are here."

"Cocky little protozoa, aren't you? As much as I would love to just stand here, watching yourself being tortured and dragged into hell, I have another matter to attend to."

He started to walk away, and before he disappeared, he said "let me know how it goes for you if you survive"

I rolled my eyes and started going back to the spell. The baby started to wake up and cry because it's starting to realize that I'm not the mother. I start chanting the words to start the summoning. I got down on both knees and presented the baby to the pentagram and the goat. The pentagram was starting to glow, and the goat started to lay down. I pulled a knife from my pocket, and held it against the crying baby's throat. "I summon thee, oh master of lies, bringer of darkness, SATAN." I slit the baby's throat, causing a massive beam shooting from the pentagram. I shield my eyes from the bright red light. Then, it stopped glowing. I looked at the pentagram, and its burnt up, and the goat was gone. I tossed the baby aside and stood up, only to see a man standing right next to the pentagram. His entire body is blood red, thin, but very muscular, eyes are pitch black, and there are horns with pointed tips coming from his head.

"Marcus is it?" Satan asked.

"And you must be the great Lucifer." I replied.

"I have seen how powerful you have become, I do not know why you have summoned me here."

"I wish to obtain wings. Wings that can carry me through the sky, that it's tips will puncture my enemies, and they cannot be broken or injured."

Lucifer didn't looked surprised at my offer. He realizes how much I wanted to obtain more power. He was thinking, wondering if he should give them to me, but with a price, or not give them to me at all. He smirked, which meant, he has made his decision.

"Very well, I shall give you what you have asked for, but there is a price."

He broke off his horn without screaming in pain, and held it in his hands. And before my eyes, I saw the horn turning into a golden stake. I looked at his head where the horn was broken off, but it healed, like the horn was never broken to begin with. He walked over to me, and put the stake in my hands. And after that, he said something I will never forget.

"Marcus, you have become more powerful than any normal being on this planet. You are almost invincible with no one to kill you, or can even stand against you. Which is why I am giving you this. This stake is the one thing that will kill you. You cannot break it yourself, which is why I am giving this to you. Only someone who is worthy, can break this stake. If that happens, nothing else can kill you. Do we have a deal?"

I hesitated, knowing that I could be killed with the very stake I hold in my hands. He reached out his arm, waiting for me to shake his hand. I looked into his eyes and met his grip.

"Deal."

With that, he snapped his fingers and disappeared. The moment he left, I felt an intense pain on my back. I scream out in pain, lying on the floor. I feel the wings forming, inside my back. I let out one final scream, and my wings shot out from my back. Expanding at great lengths. I stood up, and I could feel every muscle, every movement. I feel like a god, but then I looked down, and saw the stake Lucifer gave to me, and remembered our deal. But I didn't care at that point. I had wings, and I could do what men could dream of. Fly.
