He was a powerful ruler, but very stubborn. I asked him to peacefully give up some of his land or else. But he refused and called his guards to escort me out. That's when I waged war on him. His army was no match for mine. So, the first two battles I let him win, but the third battle was the day I went on the offensive. I led my army to one final battle before I take over this retched kingdom. During the battle, I caught a scent of someone who smelled like the king, and what I saw turned the course of this war. It was the prince. He fought valiantly without any hesitation of killing someone, so I decided to go over to him. Dominica was killing the knights who tried to take a swing at me and she was walking right along side with me.

When I got to the prince and he saw me, he clutched his sword and tried to fight me. I avoided every swing he took and when he tried to go for another one, I grabbed his wrist which his hand held his sword. He tried to fight my grip, but my strength was greater than his. I punched him in the face to knock him out, and my guards were protecting me as I was walking out of the battle field. The enemy were trying their best to strike me down, but they were no match for my army. I told the guards to fall back, and we did. The King's army were cheering as we were leaving. Little did they know that this loss ended the war in my favor.

A few days after the battle, I decided to pay John a visit. I brought no army, and no guards to aid me. If things went bad, I could handle it myself. The guards recognized me, and stopped me in my tracks. "I have business with the king" I said. One of the guards stepped forward and said "The king is in agony. He will see no one." "All the more reason to visit him". They knew who I was and what would happen to them if they try to stop me. So they just stepped aside and let me pass. I walked into the throne room with ease, knowing what the king's reaction would be if he saw me.

I saw the king laid back on his throne, with one hand covering his face. But once he heard the doors closing, he looked up to see me standing 20 feet away from him. His face of sorrow became filled with rage. "You! You have taken my boy! My only son! You have stepped over the line this time. I WILL KILL YOU!"

"How are you going to do that? Your armies are weak, barely able to even kill one of my men. Plus, if you kill me, you will never get your son back. Now let's try this again, but this time, the price is higher than before now that you have wasted my time. I want ALL of your land, and your army will serve as mine. You will be but a governor. You will be in charge of writing bills, but I have the power to pass those laws. You will not raise any taxes that will benefit you. This is my offer, take it or leave it."

There was a long pause, then he said "Get out of my sight Marcus. And never come back." I gave him a smile, bowed, my head, then walked away.
