After the fight I realized it was getting dark. I started walking, looking around for a place to take shelter. Passing through a line of trees, I came out to a flat land. At the far end was a cave entrance. I took off towards the shelter as the rain started pouring harder, and light flashed across the sky. I reached the cave and went as far back into it as possible. I sat my bag down and pulled out dry branches, twigs, and leaves to create a fire. After arranging it till I was pleased I pulled out a flint and a stone and used it to light the campfire. A flame started, and quickly filled me with warmth as it built even higher. I took out a apple and ate while I pulled out a pot and sat it out in the rain. Once the pot collected enough water I got some make-shift sticks to hold it over the fire. I pulled out some packaged meat, and carrots. I can make some forest brewed soup with this. I opened the packaged meat, and cut it up. Once the water started boiling I cut up the carrots and threw them in then added the packaged meat. I pulled out a spoon and stirred ever so often. After the 5th stir, I tried it. Perfect. I got some gloves on and pulled the pot off and onto the cave ground. I grabbed a bowl out my bag and used the large spoon to fill it with the soup. Well after eating, I had sat out a pallet to sleep on, and was close to drifting off. I could feel the wind blowing my face, then a warm presence wrapping around. I jumped up, wide awake. I looked around the cave but no one was there. It was day now and the fire had been out for awhile now, too. I get up and stretch. I collect the items and put them back in my bag. I take one last look around then leave the cave.
