Born in a place with no light, he was born as the Guardian of Darkness. Ren, the Guardian of Darkness has the ability to summon light and absorb it. For thousands of years Ren had kept a low profile, and never traveled into populated areas. He has avoided human contact so he wouldn't attract attention to himself. But it has already been ten years that Ren has been training with the Master Moko. Now, he is to train for the Goddess, the Priestess had talked about.

It happened when Ren was just resting under a tree. He notices a shadow of a house through a rising fog. Ren stands in alert and walk towards the silhouette.
Come to me. Find my light.
"Who's there?" Ren asked, slowly looking around.
You don't know me. Yet, that is. Follow the silhouette, and you shall find me. Don't worry I can't harm you. My power...
Ren finally breaks out of the fog and meets a girl with black hair and brown eyes in front of a shrine.

"My power can only allow me to communicate telepathically and as the priestess of this shrine the spirits sends me warnings and messages." the strange girl said.

"Where is this?" Ren said seriously. "I was just in a forest and it was hot, and there was birds, and-"

"Oh, relax. I'll explain. This is another thing I can do. I can influence the weather around my shrine and create barriers." She said

"You mean that fog was a barrier?" Ren follows the girl into the shrine.

"Yes. I could have made it where you walked in it for years, or simply got turned back around. But, I allowed you to pass through and come to my shrine. Would you like to know why?" she smiles sweetly, and sits down on the mat formal and properly. Ren follows her lead and contemplates it for a moment.

"Yes, why?"

"I have a message for you from the spirits." she clears her throat then continues. "A enemy from long ago has returned. In a decade he will attack the one who saved you. Find her. Protect her. Together you and three other Guardians shall end the evil he has started." Her eyes turned misty as she spoke.

"What enemy from the past?" Ren questioned when her eyes was focused again.

"I do not know, but if you can find her, she'll tell you I'm sure."

"Who is she?" Ren inquired.

"The Goddess of Innocence. You don't remember her, because you four were just little babes when she protected you. She brought you to me when you were all safe. She asked me to hide all of ya. Somewhere safe. She was in terrible condition, you know? I offered her a place to rest here but refused. Since she left, I haven't seen her. It was like she was being chased." the girl stood up and started pacing before stopping. "Do you have that dagger? Let me see it." she asked.

"Yes, how'd you know?" Ren pulled out the dagger.

"She left each one of you a dagger. I didn't know if you kept it. She wanted to be able to help each of you in a way. She probably knew you wouldn't have used it though. She considered it her parting gift and a symbol of her protection. Do you know the name of this dagger?"

He shook his head. "I didn't even knew how this dagger came to be with me. It's probably the same way for the three others right?"

"Yes. This dagger is called Unheard Agony. It was made by her in that mysterious place you were born. She has a gift being able to craft things with the elements around her."

She reaches out to touch the dagger when a shield around it appeared.

"And just like I thought. Only the owner can behold the dagger." She smiles, then starts humming.

"What about the others? Who are they?" he asked.

"You'll find out soon. No worries. As for today you can rest here, then be on your way." she says.

"But where shall I go? We don't know where she is."

"True. For now you shall go to Moko Mountain and train with the master there. His name is Fushiba Moko. He will teach you everything you need to know before she finds you, again."
