The New Start

I managed to leave the school undetected and before the police could arrive to investigate. Now i'm at my apartment packing while the news is on TV. I had a large camping bag on my bed stuffed with clothes, and other important items when the TV caught my attention.
"It has been reported that a female highschool student, by the name, Morimoto Yume has disappeared mysteriously today shortly after the crime scene was discovered. We have a student here who even claims they saw her today. Miss Tachibana, do you believe Miss Yume's disappearance has anything to do with the incident that has occurred today?" The reporter lady asked. I went back to packing and cleaning any evidence of my presence being here. After finishing, I checked the news again.
"It has been reported that police are known on their way to search for Miss Yume at home, to ask her some question and discover why she is gone." The reporter announces.
Freak! I can't be here when they arrive.
Finally I zip the bag, check around once, then leave. It's time I get out of the city, and go visit a friend. He should be able to help me.

After a few hours traveling I rest, and eat. I got to keep traveling. I picked up the bag and started walking again. I didn't walk far when I stopped again I saw a child on it's own covered in dirt.
"Are you lost?" I said approaching the little boy. The little boy nods his head. "Okay, come with me. I'll help you find your mom, okay?." I gave the boy my hand and led him back towards the city. "We don't live in the city, Miss." The boy whispers. "We live in the woods over there." Then he pointed at the dead trees and started tugging me in that direction. The aura around this boy and the woods are getting darker. It's time I go.
"Let go of me boy. I'm no fool. I know what you are." I said sternly then tugged my hand away.
The boy feet shift to the woods and he starts running away. His dark aura intensifies and whirl around him. His figure twists and stretch until he was in the form of a demon. The demon turned back to me with a sly smile. "Now, now Goddess of Purity, shouldn't you be with your guardians?" The demon walks towards me while letting his claws slide against the floor like nails on a chalkboard. "Oh, so you know about them? Well, no worries I can handle you on my own." I pull two daggers out of my bag and drop the bag to the ground. The water-elemental dagger in my left hand, and the light-elemental dagger in my right hand. The Echoing Origins dagger, and the Leaf Leak dagger. Both daggers can only be used for good purposes. When used for selfish reason it hurts the user instead. But when used properly you can discover the secrets of the Echoing Origins dagger and the Leaf Leak dagger. I haven't had to use these forever it seems.

"Oh, so you plan on killing me. That isn't very pure." The demons says coyly while stalking towards me more.

"You're wrong. These daggers may cut you, but since you're a demon it won't kill you, only purify you. That is my job as a Goddess you know?" I get into a fighting stance and wink at the demon.

The demon lunges at me. I slide under him and cut him from below using Leaf Leak. The cut opens and some of his dark aura leaves through it, before sealing again. The demon twists back around, facing me, and lunges again. This time he is slower so I side-step him and plunge Echoing Origins into his back. I pull the blade down across his back to make the cut bigger. Then the cut open again along with the previous cut letting out the rest of his dark aura. They reseal once again, and the demon falls to the ground, before turning into dust swept up by the wind. I just stand there in silence. The soul that was overtaken by the dark aura can rest now.
