Chapter 7

Ariel's PoV

After Kaylee collapsed I went back to the village. I told Chas that I would get Kay some clothes and things she may need. It worried me what happened not only because she's my best friend but because off the baby. I got the bus back to the village and headed too the woolpack "hey Ellie" I smile to our other friend as she walks out off the café. "Hey Ariel, is evreything alright, where's Kay" Ellie asks me looking a bit worried. "Kaylee is in hospital, she collapsed when she was giving evidence." I explain and she looks shocked.

I continue walking leaving Ellie who was heading to see Moira her step mum. She's their a lot to see her brother when he's their. I walked to the woolly and I go inside "Ariel we heard that Kaylee is in hospital, Chas phoned telling us you were coming to pick some things up for her" Diane tells me.

I walk up to Kaylees room and grab a bag I pack her essentials and her charger. I didn't know if she would need anything else but I would always come back and get anything she may need.

Chas POV

Even though Kaylee wasn't my daughter I am really worried about her, she's been under so much stress and I know the pregnancy isn't helping nither is the court. She put on a brave face and I didn't tell,

We were currently at the hospital, they were doing tests on her and checking if the baby was alright. Kaylee has become like my daughter over the last few months.

I was sat at her bed side waiting for the results off the tests. Aaron had gone to meet Ariel at the reception so it was me and Kay in the room.

"Are you Kaylees mother?" A nurse asks me as she walks into the room Kaylee was in "no but I'm her legal Guardian" I lie slightly, I want technically her legal guardian as she should still be in Gordon's care but I'm as good as.

"Well we have done some tests, if we don't act fast were putting both Kaylee and The baby's life in danger. We need your permission to take her to surgery and get the baby out safely, it's not safe for her to carry the baby any longer" the nurce explains to me and I stand their in shock

"I'll give you a few minutes" she tells me "wait what will happen if she Carries the baby for the next 4 months?" I ask as Aaron walks into the room "it could lead to the death to the baby, mother or both" the nurce tells me

"Mum, what's going on?" Aaron asks sounding worried "will the baby survive if you act now?" I ask the nurce "we can't be 100% sure if the baby will survive or not" she tells us and I nod "it has to be done, I give permission for Kaylee to go to surgery" I announce.

Eliza's pov

I heard from my mum that Gordon had been arrested and Kaylee was living with her step brother, and his family, she should be with me. Mum also phoned saying Kaylee collapsed at the hearing. I knew what I had to do.

I packed a small bag and booked the first flight to the uk, I was going to see my daughter and bring her back to Spain with me. None can stop me as she is mine after all.

I got a taxi to the airport and for my plane. I was finally going to see my daughter after almost 10 years and I was getting her back.

Chas's POV

The nurses took Kaylee to have the baby and they left me and Aaron with Ariel "you don't have to stay Ariel, we will call you when we here back" I suggest to the young girl sat by the side off Aaron "no it's fine, Kay is my best friend" she smiles back.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think she likes Kaylee, in more off a friend way, still cute if you ask me.

Eliza's pov
-few hours later-

I was soon in the uk and almost at the hospital which Kaylee was in. I called my mother and told her I was in the uk and going to the hospital and she said I better visit.

The taxi soon pulls up outside the hospital and I pay the driver before getting out myself and heading to the children's unit.

Once I got to the room Kaylee was in I saw a woman I recognised it was Chas, she was married to Gordon and I'm guessing the boy and girl sat next to her were her son and daughter, or something like that.

Not only was Kaylee in a hospital bed their was a baby in a cot thing beside the bed. That couldn't be Kaylees, my girl was always so sensible.

I slowly walk into the room as Kaylee speaks

Kaylees PoV

I woke up with a sore head, and thrown remembered what happened "hey sis" Aaron says hugging me "I don't know what happened back their, I'm sorry" I apologise to my older brother who keeps his arms wrapped around me

"Hey it's not your fault, they said they can rearrange it for when your better" Aaron tells me kissing my forehead gently "we had to let you go for surgery to get the baby out, you've got a little girl but she's not well" Aaron tells me showing me my baby who was wrapped up in a box like bed

I look over to the little girl but it felt like she wasn't mine, all I could think about was Gordon and what he did to me. He wasn't my dad and he was a monster.

"Chas thank you for being a mother figure to me the last few months, I don't think I would have been able to go along with the pregnancy without you" I smile softly

I look out the door which has a small window and see a woman standing outside then she walks in

"It's alright Kaylee, I've treated you like I treat lily, you may not be my daughter but your as good as" Chas smiles sitting on the side off your bed.

"Excuse me you can't just say MY daughter is as good as your own, now get out, she doesn't need you all" the woman said and then i realised it must be my mum

"Go on leave" she then says and I look at them and shake my head "don't go" I mumble as a doctor walks in "hello I'm Dr Carter, I need to take your baby to emergency care, it's going to help her get stronger as she was born 4 months early" the doctor tells me and I nod

"Has she got a name yet?" He asks me and I shake my head "not yet, it's just Baby Dingle" I say looking up to Chas "not my last name but I wish it was" I smile and Chas and Aaron but hug me gently.

"You can go and see 'baby Dingle' when you've had a rest" the doctor says pushing the baby away

"You can't do that Kaylee Emily Rose Livsey! I'm your mother not her" my 'mum' moans as I turn away so I'm facing my best friend and she looks at me as to say do you want me to leave.

"We will leave, is their anything else you need what Ariel forgot" Chas asks me and i look down. "No she doesn't need anything else good bye" mum tells Chas, my best friend and my brother. Aaron looks over to me before he leaves .

"Your coming back to Spain with me baby, you and the baby" mum demands and I frown "I want to stay with Chas, all my friends are here, and my sisters and brother" I answer back as mum comes over to he bed and sits on the chair.

"Right listen to me Kaylee your coming back with me. Your going to live in Spain with me, Matthew and the baby, I'm going to have your baby, and your going to let this happen, do you understand!" Mum says scaring me a little.

"I said do you understand!" Mum asks me again "yes mother" I say with the sound of fear in my voice.

"Can I at least name her, as I did give birth to her" I ask my mother nurvesly "fine but nothing stupid" mum growls.

Sorry for all the pov skips, it won't all be like this, and who expected Eliza, Kaylees mum to come back from Spain?
