“Guys!” Lisa called out as she stepped out of the back door. “Its time to come in!”
“Okay Lise!” Dani hollers back. Dani does a final jump and races over back to the trampoline entrance. Amy and I follow her, laughing.
We walked in a straight line, Dani to my right and Amy to my left. We erupted in laughter once again, as that had been the case the entire time outside. For some reason, Dani’s laugh always seems to brighten my day and place a smile on my face as well. I don’t know why, but it just does.
Dani opened the back door, only to find Christina pacing back and forth in the kitchen while Katherine had her head down on the table.
“I can’t believe we’re doing this to her!” Christina frets. “She just got out of the hospital two days ago and she just found out about the band today! Don’t you think we should give it a little time to sink it in?”
“Chrissy, we don’t have that time.” Katherine says as she leans back in her chair.
“Can someone please tell me why this is such a big deal?” I say, sitting in the chair diagonal to Katherine.
“You know why! We only hav-” Christina lashes out until she looks at me, she changes her tone and continues a few seconds later. “Oh. It’s nothing, trust me.”
“We only have what?” Dani says as she closes the back door.
“Yeah, what are you talking about Christina?” Amy adds on.
“Nothing...” She makes eye contact with Amy, “ Its nothing. We’re going to dinner with Nick. We’re leaving in a few minutes. Go get Lisa.” Christina grabs her phone and leaves the kitchen, a slam following her.
“What’s up with her?” Amy puts her hand on Katherine’s shoulder.
“Nothing.” Katherine gives us a smile. What’s going on?
“Okay... We’ll meet you in the car.” Amy says to Katherine as she motions us to follow her.

Once again, I was stuck in the middle of the car in between Amy and Dani.
As we drove closer to the building, I notice a lot of people outside.
