However this self made, self styled Don had a lot of local support and had also made a lot of Enemies. but thanks to his sharp mind he was never caught except once or twice when he got out on bail. And no one ever imagined that on 07/07/2007 he would be found dead in one own fish cutting factory in Bengre. Laying helpless with a country made pistol in his hand and a suicide note in his pocket. The whole of bengre where he was turning out to be a hero was in shock. His gang members couldn't take the humiliation that thier leader was dead. and they soon fleed to bombay and were underground for months. The police though closed the case as suicide since the investigation could not get hold of any evidence for murder.
