My Best Friend's child Is My Father's

CHAPTER 7

" I don't think that's how Lina raised you!",I snapped at her.
I stood up in front of her.
"Listen Precious, Lina never raised you to be a killer and on top of that a child is a blessing!", I said rubbing her wrist.

She pulled away and asked
"If it was you, would you keep the baby?", she looked straight in my eyes.
I took a deep breath.
" Look Precious, if I was in your shoes I would talk to my mom first before taking any hush decisions".

She looked at me with corner of her eye, and wiped her tears with the back of her hand.
"Thanks Theishar, but do you think that's wise enough? I screw up and then asked my mom to bail me out? That's never a good one!" , she said hauling at me.

She went next to the window and turned back to look at me. Now's the chance to ask once more about the father, I thought to myself. " Precious you know you can trust me right? We've been friends since childhood and we've been through thick and thin together--".

She cuts me and asks
"so?"
I opened my mouth and closed it again. Well I didn't expect that from her even if she's angry I cannot understand that question's tone. I moved my ass to the door. She watched me slowly as I take every step carefully as if she's counting my steps. When I was about to open the door, I remembered that I have a puzzle to be pieced.

I turned and asked her
" who's the father?".
Her eyes grew wide. For a minute I thought they were gonna fall out her head. She had a little shiver and gave me her back again. Why is she taking too long to give the fucken name? I'm just makinga confirmation here! Oh crap,if it's true my family is screwed.

Oh God!, it better be not that asshole father of mine cause I'd literally kill his little mistress if so. I was snatched back to reality when I heard a knock on the door. "Theishar it's time to go angel ", my mom was calling. Dammit, I looked to Precious asked " when are you gonna tell me the name of the father? ".

She pointed to the door and said
"Your mom's waiting for you angel, you better bounce", I couldn't believe she was that naive. I got out of her room. When I got the kitchen my mom was not there. " Your mom's in car already waiting for you",said Lina giving me cookie.
"Thanks aunty Lina",I said running out of the house to the car. Mom was already revving the car. She's always in a hurry. She'd fit very well on the Fast And Furious Cast movie.
