"Just let me go!"
"No."
"But--"
"No."
"Jane!"
"Cassandra." Doctor Jane rubs his temple with both hands, stressed and annoyed. He looks up at the blonde from his metal desk. "I've said this a million times, and I'll say it again. You are not going on that mission!"
"Why not?!" She whines.
"Because you are pregnant!"
"Oh so what? You're not letting me go because I'm getting fat?" Cassandra crosses her arms and her lips turn in an angry pout. Doctor Jane just facepalms. Cass glances down at her developing stomach, she grits her teeth. Its only been three months and I'm already beginning to look like an apple. "I can handle it, Jane!" She whines, "There's no way I'm sitting in the bunkers waiting for my vagina to explode! Let me fight!"
"Cassandra..." The doctor stands up from his chair and walks around to Cass's front, he puts a hand on her shoulder. "You know I'm only trying to protect you and my grandchild. What if someone kicks you in the stomach? Then what? You're twenty two now, act like it!"
Cass presses her lips together. "Fine!" She turns on her heel, purposely whipping her long hair on Jane's cheek. She strides out of the office.
The doctor sighs. "I thought she'd be less grumpy without a period..." he mumbles as he runs a hand down his face.

Riley does a few cartwheels before landing in front of the man. He pulls out two pistols from his belt holsters and shoots him in the leg, then the shoulder. The man screams as he drops to one knee, holding his shoulder with one hand. Riley smirks before aiming the mouth of the pistol at his head.
Before he pulls the trigger though, the man's body shimmers and disappears. So does the scenery his in. He frowns. "What the hell..." He looks around the white area. "Ay! Who's messin' with mah kill?!"
"Sorry to disturb you, agent Freeman, but its an emergency." The scientist's voice echoes around him.
Riley shoves his guns back into the holsters.
"Agent Jones had another...overreaction."
Riley rolls his eyes. "Lemme out." After a moment, a white door appears in the whiteness. He only sees it because of the light. He walks to it and walks out of the virtual machine, back into the lab. A scientist half jogs to him and hands him a towel and a water bottle. Riley wipes his forehead with the white towel and randomly tosses it somewhere before drinking from the water bottle. He wore the A.C.L.O.J workout uniform which consisted of a black muscle top that showed off his thick arms and black sweats. The other female scientists didn't even try to hide their glancing looks of admiration. He was handsome just like his brother. Of course they wouldn't try anything, aside from the fact that they were nervous...
Agent Jones had already told them she would kick their asses.
Riley let's out a tired sigh after his long gulp. "Where she at?" He asks the scientist. "This is my training time, so this betta be serious."
"Last we heard, she stormed to the barracks."
"Thanks, Heddy." Riley nods at her before walking out the exit. Damn, he thinks, she's the one who wanted kids and now she's walking around here screaming at everyone. Riley thinks about the last time he went with her to get the scan, the baby couldn't be identified then, but he's thinking of going again. He wants to know whether the baby is a girl or boy, but Cass wants it to be a surprise.
He rolls his brown eyes before scratching an itch between his cornrows. "Bitches..." he mutters.
He let's the scanner next to the door scan his eyes. "Access granted, Agent R.Freeman." The door slides open and he walks into the Squad 1 barracks, heading down the hallway to a specific door. They had been upgraded over the years from Squad 2 to Squad 1, thanks to their contributing work. But now the sad part is they rarely do missions together as much as they used to. Kiara's a lone wolf. The twins are usually asked to do their own separate missions because of their stealth. And Huey has weird disappearing acts.
Riley thought of retiring with Cass to raise his family, but Cass loves the adventure. Problem is he does too. Seriously. Riley Freeman moving back to the suburbs? He hated Woodcrest enough, especially since the death of his grandfather. Robert left the house to him and Huey, it still stands in it's same spot unoccupied, but furnished. Huey makes sure to take care of it, usually hiring Lando from time to time to work on the garden and sending maids there every month. They both didn't want to sell the house, it was too painful.
Riley shakes his head and enters the pod. Cassandra sits on the bed with her arms and legs crossed. She looks up at her fiancé with her pretty hazel eyes. However, she rolls those eyes and turns around on the bed, facing away from him. Riley frowns at her back shielded with long gold hair. Cass had straightened it a long time ago. The leather A.C.L.O.J jacket tightly hugs her figure. Riley smiles to himself. Who ever said pregnant women aren't beautiful?
"Hey, baby." Riley slides onto the bed, she feels his weight and refuses to turn around. "Look at me." Riley grins. "Why you ignoring me?"
"Because," Cass looks back at him over her shoulder, "I know you're only here to scold me about throwing another fit. So just skip it."
"Scold? Naw naw. I wouldn't say scold..." Riley says teasingly, "More like...correcting."
"Riley." Cassandra turns back around. "I'm sick of being treated like some paralysed person."
Riley tilts his head.
"Jane acts like I can't even walk! I told you it was a bad idea to tell him soon, I haven't been on a mission in forever!" She groans dramatically as she lies down on her back.
"But, Cass. You realise that I ain't been on a mission too. Right?"
"That's different! You say no! You've rejected every mission thrown at you just cause you wanna stay here and watch me!" She pushes herself up with her elbows. "And I know you wanna go! I feel like I'm holding you back!"
Riley shakes his head.
"I totally am." She levels a look with him.
"No you ain't."
"Yes. I am."
"Naw."
"Yes. Riley, you don't have to lie to me. I mean--" Riley interrupts her with a kiss. Cassandra looses herself for a moment and closes her eyes. Riley gently pushes her back down as he crawls over her, their lips never parting. They kiss for a while before Cassandra shakes her head slightly. She pushes him up by his chest with both hands. "Riley! Stop!"
Riley doesn't lean down to kiss her again, but doesn't crawl off her either.
"Whenever we talk about this you always do that!""Do what?"
"You kiss me to shut me up, then somehow we end up having sex, then you act like that whole topic never happened!"
"No I don't."
Cassandra glares at him.
Riley laughs. "Aight. Maybe I do, but you can't say you don't like it."
"I don't!"
Riley cocks an eyebrow. "You don't? Really?"
Cass bites her lip.
Riley shrugs a shoulder. "Aight. I'll stop then." He crawls off her. Cassandra shoots up, "Wait. You'll stop what?"
Riley just smirks at her.
"Riley! Stop what?!"
"I'll be in the virtual machine if you need me. Not for any sexual purposes of course. You don't like it anyway." He winks at her before walking out of the room, the door slides shut behind him.
Cassandra sighs as she lies back down, "Cocky bastard."
