Huey's POV
After suiting up in my warmest attire, I leave the barracks and head to the weapon room. It really has been chaotic since C.J was kidnapped. So far, Jane has been taking charge, Riley and I would make decisions every now and then. I can't stop stressing about it. I know I don't kill people unless I have to, unless they're a threat to my own life, but she took my father. A deranged woman who's been killing black men.
I will kill her.
But not before I save C.J.
When I reach the door to the weapons room, the scanner asks for my identity. "Huey Freeman, Level A Agent. Squad 1."
"Access granted. Good day, Agent Freeman." The door slides open. I smirk to himself as a memory comes to mind...
"Your just upset because it denied you access." He looks at me. "Call yourself Agent Huey Freeman. Trainee student."
I look at the door again. "Uh...Agent Huey Freeman, trainee student."
"....Access granted." The door slides up. "Good day, Agent Freeman."
We all stand there, staring wide-eyed. "How-"
I had found out why the door opened at my command and not Kiara's that day. It was the mention of my surname, 'Freeman,' a surname I share with my father. It also would've opened for Riley.
My eyes survey the room with shelves carrying different guns and weapons, from biggest to smallest, powerful to weak. I stride over to the shelf with the smaller guns and grab my favourite two, the ones reserved for me. It was a silver pistol, small, but quick, and strong. You just needed to know how to use it.
"You're brave to go in light," I hear from behind me.
I let out a low chuckle. "Look who's talking."
Cass walks to my side. "I go in heavy! Bombs are twice as heavy as these little things you carry."
Incase you've forgotten, let me remind you. Kiara is a master at martial arts and other skills of combat, she also uses her pistols every now and then. Cass is more of a boxer, mixing a bit of gymnastics in all her moves, she's also an expert at bombs, either throwing them or disabling them. Riley strictly uses guns. The Taylor twins are kings of stealth and can fight with theie hands, but mostly use their katanas and other 'ninja' weapons. Me? I can use my hands, my katana, and guns, I prefer my katana.
I remember to grab my trusty sword. Cass watches as I pull it out of its glass case and slide it into my belt holster. "You're pretty prepared, huh?" She comments as she stretches out her slingshot. She fills up one of her holsters with explosive paintballs.
"I'll make her beg for mercy," I respond, putting my guns om safety. For now.
Cass smiles sadly. "I sure hope he's okay..."
I don't respond this time.

In the jet, flying to the Artic Circle, the group gets ready. Mike and Matt sharpen their swords, Riley polishes his pistol and Cass sleeps. Kiara sits away from us at the end of the jet, fidgeting in her seat. She's been acting pretty much the same, but she's nervous. I walk over to her and lean on the side of her seat. "How're you feeling?"
"Should I be feeling? I don't know. Am I good? Am I bad? I don't know, Huey! I don't know what to think!" She buries her head in her hands.
"Relax...you're just nervous. Your anxiety in only strengthening these side effects," I tell her calmly. "Any new changes?"
