"Umm, excuse me Mr. Hopper...but I- " Hippo began to squeak.
"Oh shut up, you mangy mutt, just keep quiet and quit squirming," retorted the grasshopper, cutting Hippo off.
Hippo was now very nervous - first he thought he'd made a new friend, but it turned out that this meany of a grasshopper wanted to capture him! But what for? What can a tiny grasshopper like him, do to a much bigger hippo like me, Hippo wondered.
"OK!" shouted Hopper, "We are here!"
This land didn't look familiar and was infested with little green specks of wandering grasshoppers.
"Fantastic!" said a big grasshopper, who Hippo guessed was Hopper's father, " You've brought dinner..."

"WAIT WHATTT!!" exclaimed Hippo.
"What did I tell you?" shouted Hopper, "just shut your dirty snout and do me a favor: eat this pomegranate..."
"Um ok." Hippo loved food. He bit into the juicy seeds of the red fruit - although it did smell pretty funny - and immediately fell into a deep sleep.
Next thing Hippo knew, he was dangling over a black copper pot of boiling water, still in his net. He could feel the his skin blistering because of the hot smoke that pummeled onto him, just a couple inches from the pot. Hippo then wondered... hey, where'd they get that pot?
