Chapter Two
The bell rung and I jumped up, Troy yawned and got his things and we walked out, Bret was there, he has my second class, Geometry. “Hey there sunshine, I see you two have one alpha in your first period.” Bret sighed. “Yea, too much male testosterone. “ I said quietly and he chuckled and hugged me, “This Is why I love you!!!!” Bret smiled and we walked to our class. “Class, new student, introduce yourself to everyone.” Mr. Denis sighed. Great now I have the other Alpha in our class.
In walked a hot guy and I mean dam!!! I shifted in my seat because just feeling the power radiating off of the other Alpha and now him, for some reason made my core heat up in arousal. Bret glanced at me as he had smelt my arousal, stupid werewolf smelling. “Name is Hunter Slade, I have a fraternal twin, Colt Slade. We both come from somewhere else, more secluded areas.” Hunter smirked and watched me with interests; his gaze wasn’t helping my problem. ‘What the hell Bethany?’ Bret mind link me. ‘I don’t know, it just, I don’t know!’ I sent back and he groaned and laid his head on my shoulder and the Hunter guy sat in the back , on the opposite of the room from us.
“Bethany, will you come to the front of the class and solve this problem?” Mr. Denis spat, he hated me why I have no idea. I slowly got up and started to walk to the board, I got there and he glared at me. “Go sit back down! You take way to long! How will you go through life?” He sneered and solved the answer. “I could do it.” I snapped back and again was surprised by snapping back at him, I have never done that since being with Jason. “Sit down before I right you up!” Mr. Denis gawked and I sat back down next to Bret, he flipped the teacher off. “Well if you weren’t such a dick to her she wouldn’t have been scared to go up there and answer it! Be glad you are a member’s mate!” Bret snarled and the teacher looked scared and I giggled.
Hunter’s POV
She giggled as the teacher looked scared, amusing little thing. ‘Have you found her yet?’ Colt linked me. ‘No man, but this girl, something about her.’ I smirked and sent him a image of her. ‘Her? She seems to be the Alpha’s girl, she was hugging up on him and first period.’ Colt snarled. ‘She is hugging on the beta to. The beta just threatened a teacher for scaring her, she is fragile.’ I said in awe. ‘Seems like a whore if she is hugging up on them.’ Colt spat. ‘Hey you don’t know everything, maybe she is dating one and the other is her brother' I spat back and shut the link off, something was off, I felt strange.
I raised my hand, I felt dizzy, and like I was on fire and about to throw up. “What is it Mr. Slade?” The teacher sighed. “I don’t feel so well, I need to go to the nurse.” I groaned, he eyed me and everyone else did. “Come get the pass, what are you symptoms?” He asked. “I feel, dizzy, ho-“And like that I fell to the ground when I tried to stand up. “MR. SLADE?” The teacher gasped. “Fire.” I whispered and fell into a deep sleep.
Bethany’s POV
“Fire.” Hunter groaned and closed his eyes. I jumped up and rushed over to him, Bret was faster, he shook him. “Dude? Hunter? What the hell?” Bret growled and contacted Troy. I felt his forehead, he was on fire! That was saying something since we werewolves run hot naturally. “He is burning up, it burned to touch him.” I gasped and Bret growled and touched and hissed at the sting. “WHAT THE HELL?!” Troy and Colt growled and raced over. “Hunter?! Hunter wake up, come on man!” Colt growled and hook his brother. ‘Touch him’ Snow growled. ‘Why?’ I asked. ‘Just let me take control!’ Snow barked and before I knew it, she had.
“Everyone back the hell up!” Snow growled and Troy and Colt both growled, but Troy noticed Snow was in control and place his hand on Colt. “Her wolf is in control, so maybe she can do something so move.” Troy said with caution. “If you harm him I will kill you!” Colt growled as Snow placed our hand on Hunter’s forehead. “Fever, he is shaking.” Snow whispered and bent down and opened his eyes, they were shifting between his grey eyes and his wolve’s black eyes, finally stopping on the black. “I get it, his wolf, he how long has it been since his wolf has been let out?” Snow hissed, Colt looked puzzled. “Maybe a week, I actually don’t know.” Colt sighed. “He needs to be let out, he has power built up and his body isn’t taking it lightly.” Snow said and picked Hunter up and took off outside and laid him on the ground.
“Alpha, command him to shift with all alpha power, he might be out but his wolf will hear it and shift.” Snow said and then Colt told him to shift, and the power in his voice had our knees shaking. Hunter’s eyes shot open black, his body compulvsed and a minute later there laid a pure black wolf, his fur was jet black. His eyes blinked and he finally came to and stood and looked around. “You idiot!!!!! How long has it been since you’ve shifted?” Colt growled and hit the black wolf, who then tackled him growling. “Stop you two! It isn’t good!” Snow hissed and gave me back control, Bret caught me as I swayed.
“Bethany, you seem to be a pack doctor.” Bret chuckled and gave me a piggy back ride. “BETHANY!!!” Alex and Jake’s voices shouted and they raced over grabbing me and hugging me. “What happened? You scared us, Troy told us to get here.” Alex gasped. “Snow took over and helped Hunter out, I don’t know why though.” I explained, they just glared at the Slade alphas.
