Chapter Eight
Hunter’s POV
She was rejecting us, my wolf was in pain as was I. She didn’t have to officially say the words, I still felt the pain with her not saying them. I fell to my knees clutching my chest, I couldn’t breathe. “Hunter?” Her angelic voice panicked with fear. “You are rejecting us.” Colt growled and punched a tree, one will get angered and one will feel pain, unfortunely I would be the one feeling the pain.
“I am so sorry, I don’t want to, I just can’t be a royal!” She cried, Spike howled in pain. “So what?! You want us to give up our blood? Our responsibility then you will accept us?” Colt growled. “No, that is not what I am saying!” Bethany cried out holding herself. “What are you saying then dammit? We love you! We have been all over the world looking for you so you can come back with us, so we can love you and spoil you for all eternity. But you won’t let us?!” Colt growled. I suddenly felt scared as hell, but it wasn’t my fear at all.
“Colt? Stop you are scaring her!” I growled but gasped for air. “Scaring her? Good because look how much pain she is causing you! She is making me angry!” Colt growled, his eyes were black. “Colt, stop remember she was scared of men!” I growl out and tackle him to the floor and he snaps back to reality.
Bethany’s POV
Scared. Yes I am scared as hell. “Colt? Please you are scaring me!” I cried out and fall to my knees and curl in a ball. Images of Jason flash in my head. How he would always try and control me, say that I was under him all the time.
“NO!” I screamed. “I felt sparks going all over me, I opened my eyes to see Hunter and Colt looking at me scared. “I, Bethany Marie Loner-“ Lips were on mine and I smiled. They got the wrong idea. I pushed them back and ran from them as they tried to get me. “I BETHANY MARIE LONER” “Please no!!! I can’t handle it!” Colt growled out getting on his knees. “I Bethany Marie Loner, Accept you Hunter and Colt Slade as my mates.” I smiled and they gasped.
“But I thought you wouldn’t?” Hunter choked. “I don’t want to be a royal but I already love you two so much.” I blushed. Both rushed to me and picked me up spinning me around in a circle, I am sure that is anyone had been walking around and seen this they would have been like Da Fuck!?
“Can we mark you please?” Hunter asked, Even though Colt looked ready to, his eyes were black and his canines were slowly slipping out. “Colt? Please not now.” I winced and coward into Hunter, he growled but his eyes went back to normal. “I am sorry love, I didn’t realize that I had been that close, please forgive me.” Colt groaned his voice hard.
“Let’s just go back home for now.” I smiled and we did, we all shifted and raced back home, they got clothes from my brothers and I dressed in the clothes I had token off. “Bethany Marie Loner, why the hell did you run off?!” Mother growled, earning a growl from my mates in return.
“I agree with her Leann, she shouldn’t be a royal’s mate, well mates. She won’t be one, I won’t allow it!” Dad growled, and my mates growled loudly glaring at my father. “What attack me? Go ahead and then you will never be with her, still.” Dad smirked. “Dad stop.” I sighed and he glared at me. “You are my daughter, I have raised you since birth! You will not marry the fucking Princes!” Father roared and my mates were in front of me in a protective crouch ready to defend.
“Hunny stop.” Mom sighed and dad snarled at her. “Don’t you tell me what to do Leann!” Dad snarled and jumped at her, Alex quickly blocked him and thrown him to the ground. “What the hell is wrong with you?!” Jake growled. “Two mates, they do not exist! Even if they are brothers it is wrong!” Dad roar and mom looked down.
“Mom is there something you aren’t telling us?” I asked her and she sighed. “I had two mates; your father had a twin. But he never knew about Collin, his twin. One day I was out in the woods and a gorgeous brown wolf came up to me; I thought it was your father.” My whispered, and father growled. “Stop Leann, my kids don’t need to hear about your bastard mate.” Father growled and I groaned. “Mom continue.” I sighed.
“Turns out, when he shifted, he didn’t have the scar on his chest, it was actually my other mate, well he was a rouge alpha, he quickly marked me and well yea. A few months later I gave birth to you Bethany.” Mom cried. “What?”? I gasped. “NO! She is my daughter!” Dad growled and went to lounge at my mother, Alex threw him back. “Your father is the 3rd most powerful alpha now, he is no longer rouge.” Mom sighed. “What?” I cried and fell to my knees. So my father wasn’t my real father, but the cruelest alpha, the 3rd strongest pack?
“That is lie! She is my daughter!” Dad growled and lunged for me, my mates pushed him back and were close to shifting. “You hear me? She is my daughter!” Dad screamed and I was crying. “So she is our half-sister?” Alex asked confused and mom nodded. “Why did you never tell me until now?” I growled out. My mother looked scared, I would have been to, I was so close to shifting. “Why would she lie and tell you that? I swear I am your father!” Dad cried out. “His wolf is in denial.” Hunter sighed. I growled and shifted, everyone stared not knowing what I would do. I lunged for my mother first, I managed to sink my teeth into her leg and she screamed, father howled in pain. I then let her go and went after my so called father; I bit into his shoulder and shook him, slamming him into a tree.
I growled and lay beside my mates who were smiling proudly. “Well, now we see how it is, can we all just calm down.” Alex sighed.
