Chapter 11

It's the next day of school and I was in the "Hero Support" classroom because school hasn't started yet. "Dude! You made sidekick history" Zach said as he walked into the classroom. "I don't know about that" Will said blushing. "No seriously. From now on people mess with us at their own peril."
"Yeah Will you're our hero" I said sarcastically "You know he wouldn't have hurt you. I would've stopped him."
"When did you start defending Warren Peace" Layla asked me. "The same time you started asking so many questions" I snapped at her. She put her hands up in surrender and I said "Sorry I'm just kinda tired. Long night."

BRRRIIINNGG
"Shit. I didn't know it was that late. I gotta you guys" I said as Mr. Boy walked into the classroom. "Seats everyone. Davidson get out of here" he said pointing to the door. "I'm going" I muttered. "Wait Harley. There's someone you need to take with you."
"Mr. Boy you're cool and all but I'm not a babysitter that takes kids on potty brakes" I said while slowly backing out of the classroom. "Yeah yeah I know. Mr. Stronghold gather your gear and follow Miss Davidson to your first hero class. Congratulations for being transferred" Mr. Boy said as Will walked towards me "But if you ever find yourself needing some hero support you know where to find me" he said as he popped out from under his desk with a hero costume on. "Weird freaking teacher" I muttered to myself. "Well you two shouldn't be late."
"Yeah Will hurry your ass up" I said. "Language Miss Davidson!"
"Oops?"
Will smiled at everyone one last time before he pulled me out of the classroom and shut the door.

"So, where is this mad science lab" Will asked trying to make conversation. We haven't really hung out that much on account of us being in different groups and me ditching them for Warren. "Uh it's upstairs" I said avoiding looking at him. "Why are you acting so weird?"
"Why are you acting so normal?"
He laughed a little "What are you talking about?"
I sighed and finally looked at him as I pulled us into one of the locker rooms. "We haven't talked in awhile, so I think it's kind of awkward now" I said as I checked to make sure no one was in here. "Just because we haven't talked doesn't mean things need to be awkward" he said as he took a couple steps closer to me and I took some back. I felt my body hit the wall as he continued to take steps toward me. "I-I guess not" I said nervously. I closed my eyes for a split second and in that time Will had put his,cold chapped, lips to mine. "What are you doing" I shouted as I pushed him off of me. "I-I thought you were giving me signals" he shouted back. "Why the hell should I do that? I told you when we broke up that I only saw you as a friend Will! Nothing else" I yelled as I felt tears burning my eyes. "Well that's not all I see you as" he said as he came towards me to give me a hug. "What the hell is wrong with you" I yelled as I backed away from him. I slowly dropped down to the floor and tucked my head in between my knees as I cried. I looked up and I saw he had tears about to fall from his eyes, but mine were already trailing down my face. He looked at me for a while with tears slowly falling from his eyes. "I'm so sorry I loved you for so long" he said quietly. "What? What are you talking about?"
"I'm so sorry I kept trying to hold onto you when it was obvious that you didn't want me to play that role in your life anymore. I finally learned that all you wanted was to be set free and I need to learn to let you go. Not because I want to, but because you're happy without me. And all I've ever wanted was for you to be happy" he said with a sad smile. Him saying that just made me cry even more. "I'm so sorry Will. I didn't mean to make sad too" I said laughing a little. I motioned for him to come sit on the floor with me and he did. I leaned my head on his shoulder. "I don't want you out of my life Will. I love you, but as a best friend. We've been best friends since we were kids and I don't want to lose that" I said as I gave him a side hug. I quickly let go, stood up, and wiped my tears. "Now let's go before we're suspended for skipping" I said laughing. He laughed too as I pulled him up.

Sorry for the short chapter after such a long time, but I finally got my laptop back so I'll be updating now. I think I'm still going to do the Q&A about myself that was suggested by @AshleyWilcox7 so please just leave the questions that you want answered in the comments. Hopefully there will be another update later today that is way longer than this one.
