Everyone was back in the gym waiting for Mr. Madula to speak. "I've de-pacified all the babies and destroyed that horrible weapon forever" he said as everyone cheered. "Now before we continue with the celebration a student would like to come and say something" he said looking over my way. I stood there with my eyes wide, not wanting to go up there and talk, but realized he was talking about Warren. Warren looked down at me nervously and then proceeded to walk to the podium. Mr. Madula left the stage and Warren cleared his throat.

"So um, when I planned on giving this I didn't think someone was going to try and kill us but I guess weird things happen right" he laughed nervously and pulled out a folded piece of paper. He unfolded it and began to read from it.

Warren's POV
"Um. Scientists have estimated that the earth is around 4.543 billion years old. And people have walked the earth for 200,000 years. At this moment in time there are 7,470,818,671 people on the planet. Some are running away scared and some are coming back home. Some tell lies to make it through their day and others are just now facing the hard truth. Seven billion people on the planet. Seven billion hearts and souls. And sometimes all you need is one" I said looking around the gym. A lot of the students were looking at me with confusion. I knew I was going to lose a lot of bad guy points, but I don't really care. "Your soulmate is not someone that comes into your life peacefully, it is someone who comes to make you question things, who changes your reality, somebody that marks a before and after in your life. Someone who shows you that they're perfect, and so you like them. Then they show you they're not perfect and that makes you love them. I guess what I'm trying to say is...." I looked around nervously and met eyes with Will who gave me a thumbs up. I nodded and locked eyes with Harley. "...I love you Harley Davidson. You annoy me more than I ever thought possible, but I want to spend every irritating minute with you" I said smiling at her. She looked like she was about to cry and that was not the reaction I had expected. I thought she would have been radiating joy right now. I sighed and waited for what was about to come.

Harley's POV
Warren finished his speech and I could feel the tears coming. Everyone in the crowd was 'aww' ing and looking around for the girl he was talking about. I felt someone push me and I turned to Layla. "Go up there and get him Harley" she said. I walked up on to the stage and stood in front of Warren. "So how was that" he asked with a smile. "Fucking perfect" I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Stronghold helped with it."
He touched his forehead to mine and I whispered, with a giant smile on my face, "I love you too."
He leaned in and kissed me and everyone in the crowd cheered. I pulled back when Mr. Madula shouted "Let's boogie!"
Music started playing and Warren held his hand out to me. I smiled wider than I ever thought I could and turned my arm to metal. He looked at me and lit his hand on fire. "You sure about this" he asked with a smile. "Trust me Warren. I'm fireproof."
And with one last quick kiss we made our way to the dance floor hand in hand.

Compared to what happened at homecoming the rest of the year was pretty boring. Gwen and her minions got what they deserved and now no one wants to save the citizen. Just kidding sadly, but they are getting to spend some bonding time in prison. So that's a plus. So in the end my ex-boyfriend became my best friends boyfriend and my enemy became my boyfriend and best friend. Two in one! But hey, I guess that's just high school.
