Chapter 17

I could hear everyone shouting and running around as I looked to make sure I had gotten everyone. "..4..5! Plus me there's 6, so everyone is here" I said I sat down on the ground. "Why did you pull us down here? We should be out there helping them" Layla said and as if on cue another person screamed as they got turned into a baby. I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "Look. I know we're supposed to be heroes, but none of that matters to me right now. Warren and I have the strongest powers, besides Layla but you won't use yours, and I don't want any of you getting hurt" I said as I looked all of them in the eyes. "We know that, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try" Ethan said. We just sat there staring intently at each other and I finally gave in. "Fine" I said with a huff "but if any of you get hurt make sure to find me first so I can heal you."

We all got up from under the table to see that all the exits were gated. "Great. Now what" I said as Boomer ran up to us. "Hothead! Get as many people out of here as you can! I'll stay back and hold them o-" Boomer was cut short as the pacifier was shot at him. I would've gotten hit too if a certain someone hadn't grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the way. "Come on" Warren said as he blasted the vent cover off. Magenta went in first followed by Layla, Zach, Ethan, me, and finally Warren.

"Where the heck are we" Magenta asked as we all slowly crawled forward in the vent. "Hey Warren, how about a torch" Ethan asked. Even though no one could see me I rolled my eyes. "Sure. Great idea if we want to get barbecued."
Suddenly a light started coming off of Zach. The two girls in the front moved out of the way, so Zach could get in front. "He really does glow" I heard Warren mutter from behind me.

We were trying to work out how to get the vent cover off, but stopped when someone from outside pulled it off. "Hey it's Will" Zach said as we all climbed out. I would have fallen flat on my face if it weren't for Warren pulling my dress back. "Thanks, but your hand better not go any further up on my ass or you're going to lose it" I said as I pulled myself out of the vent. "Yes ma'am" Warren said as I helped him get out. "Hey Will" I said as Warren finally got his fat ass out.

"Guys you're never going to believe this! Gwen-"
"Is Royal Pain's daughter" Layla said as she cut Will off.
"She stole the pacifier-"
"And turned everyone into babies. Including your parents" I said finishing his sentence. "Ok. That I didn't know" Will said.
"I think this is even more than the great Will Stronghold can handle" Layla said rudely. Will didn't seem fazed by it as he said "She's right. This is going to take all of us."
"All of who? You, Warren, and Harley? The rest of us are only sidekicks" Magenta said. "Just because you have powers doesn't make you a hero. Sometimes it just makes you a jerk. It makes me a jerk. I guess what I'm trying to say is-"
"We get it you're a jerk" we all said at the same time. Will obviously wasn't listening because he was just focused on Layla. "Layla, in case my homecoming date ends up killing me tonight I just want you to know" Will said as he pulled Layla into him and kissed her. "Wow ok. I've been shipping you guys for years, but I didn't expect your first kiss to be in front of my face" I said backing up into Warren. He looked down and me and wiggled his eyebrows. "Oh no. We're not kissing" I said pushing him back. I saw hurt flash across his face, but he quickly hid it from me and turned back to Layla and Will. Who were finally done snogging.

"Isn't that sweet. I hate sweet" a voice said from behind us. We turned around and saw Penny, Speed and Lash. "You guys are apart of this too? Why am I not surprised" Will said. "Actually I knew all along. Layla you owe me 50 bucks."
"Harley shut up" Magenta hissed at me. I held my hand up to my heart and did an overdramatic gasp. Even when we were in danger I didn't know how to contain myself. Warren grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. "Go take care of Gwen. We can handle these clowns" Warren said to Will. Will ran through the wall while Magenta and Zach went back through the vent. That just left Layla, Ethan, Warren, and me to fight theses weak ass bitches. Warren went after Speed, Lash went after Ethan, and Penny and her clones went after me and Layla.
