Okay so how the song connects to the drawing is basically that Sey becomes the queen and claims to be a just and kind ruler, and even appears to be on the outside, but she actually kills each and every prisoner, and has started to arrest people just because she wants to kill them. Her magic rules over matter, and she's trying to become stronger so she can basically control everyone. (That has nothing to do with the killing though, she just does that for sport...) And in the song when it's questioning whether they can change is Lin. And other stuff connects to the song, but that's spoilers. ANYWAYS, the basic idea for the drawing is her glossy image is starting to break away, showing her true self, the murderer.
