Chapter 3

                                                                  -Chapter 3-

As you would expect,the zombies came towards me slowly.I took them out with ease.Before I walked in,I noticed a skeleton in a corner of the dungeon,shooting arrows towards me.I pulled out a bow of my own and took it out.

I mined the spawner and looked in the first chest.I got what you would expect:iron ingots,wheat,cocoa beans.What was in the next chest,however,confused and amazed me:a golden apple,the music disc Cat,and...

...five purple gems.

I immediately pulled out these items and rushed out of the cave.When I found the surface,I gathered my bearings and headed towards the building that CMA used.

When I entered I headed towards Rob's office.He was working on a report for his boss when he glanced up at me."Find any purple gems?"

I nodded and gave him the five purple gems.

"Excellent!What elevation did you find this?"

"Well,you see,I didn't really mine these?"I said.Rob had a confused look on his face.

"While walking through a ravine,I stumbled across a dungeon.I took out the spawner and looked through the chests.The first chest I found normal items,but the second chest gave me a music disc,a golden apple,and those purple gems."I explained.Rob was typing furiously as I spoke,eager to get this information down.

"Wow...just,I can't believe it!Brilliant!I'll promote you to the leader of Mining Team 14!Team 14 will head into a nearby cave tomorrow to search for dungeons and other underground structures."Rob told me."By the way,do you have any other ores?"I nodded and handed him the ores I mined.He took these and some ores he stored in a chest next to his computer.He got up and walked through the doorway leading to the main lobby."Thanks again!"He called over his shoulder.

I headed out the front door and towards my home.It's been quite a productive day.I thought as I approached my house.I entered,closed the door behind me,fed my pet wolf,and hopped into the bed,ready to relax and rest.
