Ok, so I'm sad to say that only one person entered my competition so they are the winner, and it is...
teatyper !!!!!!!
So, if teatyper wants to comment on the side what name they would like me to use (male or female) that would be awesome and the new character will be in the next chapter. --------------------------------->
Ok, so on to the story...My hands are trembling on my crutches as I approach the door labelled 'Training Stage 2'. I have absolutely no desire to find out what is behind that white door, but I don't think I have much of a choice. And whatever it is, it can't be much worse than mud up to my ears.
A minute later, the door opens and a familiar pink haired head pokes out.
"Come on in, Rosa!" Zahvahnah smiles.
Reluctantly, I hobble through the white doorway into a room with mirrored walls - pretty much the only thing I've seen here that isn't white - and a small white plastic chair in one corner. Right in the middle, dominating the small room is an imposing looking silver steel chair, with white cushions on it. It looks a bit like a dentists chair.I hate the dentists.
"In you hop." Says Zahvahnah. Slowly , I lean over and hoist myself up onto the imposing chair. Dropping my crutches by the side, I get comfortable.
Or as comfortable as you can get when you are scared out of your wits.
Anyway, I look over at Zahvahnah, who has her back to me, her loose hair tumbling down her back in a curly pink waterfall. I can't see what she is doing. But then, after a moment, she straightens up and turns around, and my heart actually drops to the pit of my stomach. I was wrong; it can be so, so much worse than mud. Because in Zahvahnah's hand is a huge syringe the length of a wooden spoon and the width of my wrist, and it is filled with a translucent blue liquid. I visibly shiver as Zahvahnah advances towards me, a sympathetic smile on her face. She leans over me, her hair tickling my nose. Then she brushes the hair from the side of my neck and sticks in the needle. Before she squeezes strange liquid into me, she looks me in the eyes and says
"Don't worry. It's not real. Remember that, Rosa."
And then she pushes the plunger.Slowly, I open my eyes, just to close them again quickly, blinded by the pure white light. But I have to open them anyway, because someone was leaning over me and saw me open my eyes a crack, and now they're shaking my shoulders violently. So I push myself up wearily. I have a horrible pounding headache and as I stand up straight, a wave of nausea washes over me, forcing me to my knees again. But the person barks
"Up! Lazy bones, are you? We'll soon fix that!"
I turn my head to snap a snarky reply, but a ringing starts in my ears with the sharp movement, so I simply stand slowly and gently lift my head to look at the person. It is a man with a shaved head, and his skin is so pale it it almost see through. It is stretched over his knife-sharp cheekbones and pulled tight over all the knuckles and joints on his hands. His eye sockets are sunken, and he looks fragile enough to snap any minute. He looks scary.
He leads me over to a white chair (no change there then) and motions for me to sit down. He stands on the other side of the room. My headache is slowly subsiding. Then scary man opens his mouth and says
"I'm Michael. What can you do?"
"Excuse me?"
"What can you do? Don't play dumb; you're here for a reason"
"A reason?"
"Oh come on, idiot. This is Training Camp for Spoilt Bewitchers. You can't be here if you aren't one."
"Aren't what?" I seem to have something wrong with my mouth at the moment; I can only say two words at a time...
"A BEWITCHER! For goodness sake, drop the act, beautiful. Just get one with it. I know you know what I'm talking about, and if you're trying to humour me, you are failing. So get on with it and answer my question. Or there will be consequences."That's it. No-one, NO-ONE speaks to me like that.
"Shut up!" I scream. "I will NOT deal with you being rude to me! And I do not get given consequences or get threatened! Ever!"
Exasperated, I fling out my arms, turn around and start to huff off. But I feel that weird tingly feeling in my arm again, and I start to panic. Oh no. Not this again. Please, no, no, no! Reluctantly, I turn to look at where I'm expecting destruction. But I just see Scary Michael looking at me with a smirk on his face.
"Interesting." I hear him mutter. "She is quite special, this one. I've never seen anything like that before...but that is all for today"
But I can barely hear him by the end. My hearing and sight are getting muffled, and I drop to my knees. I suddenly realise that I don't have my crutches, I don't need them? But I can't dwell on it because my cheek is now pressed onto the hard, cold ceramic floor, and my head is swimming. I have that sensation again, like I am floating away from my body...and then I slip into the velvety arms of unconscious.Ok guys so sorry it was short, it's just a filler really because I need the new character, so yeah. I hope you liked it
Tell me what you think in the comments and please be honest it helps me improve
