"Wait, what!!????" I screech. "I am NOT  spoiled!" I run and bash my fist on her oakwood desk.
"Whoa, slow down young lady!" Says Zahvahnah, as she grabs my arm and yanks me away from Mrs Gurney.
"Where are your manners, madam?" Questions Mrs Gurney in her raspy old voice. I open my mouth to yell at her again, but she makes a shooing motion with her hand, and Zahvahnah quickly pulls me out and shuts the door. What just happened?! Did I really just get DISMISSED??? Then I realise that Zahvahnah is still dragging me along, and I indignantly pull myself out of her grasp.
"I'm not three. I can walk by myself, thank you very much!"
"Well then, by all means, lead the way!" Laughs Zahvahnah.
And I realise just how stupid I've been; I have no idea where she was leading me, do I? But I can't back down now, so I start walking as confidently as I can. It can't be that hard, surely.

Finally after many seemingly endless white corridors and probably about a million white doors, I reach a red one. I'm so surprised that I turn around to Zahvahnah. She just smiles, amused. So I push the door and almost die. Literally. A yellow boomerang with sharp knives around the edges zooms right past my head. I scream, and watch the deadly boomerang as it flies back to its owner, and disappears when he catches it. It actually disappears. Into his hand. Gone. Poof. Not there. Whatever you want to say. I gasp, and stare hard at the boy who threw the boomerang. He is short. Really short. He could actually be a relative of Mrs Gurney!
I'm about to make a snarky comment when I do a double-take. He has spots, braces, lank hair the colour of rust and goofy hands and feet that are way too big for his body.

My mouth falls open. That's impossible! He...I killed him!
"Richie? Is it...is it really you?" I stutter, still astonished.
He gives a casual wave and grins. You know, his smile is actually quite nice. And he looks really good in a tight shirt and combat trousers...
I shake my head. What am I thinking?!
"So what happened? How did you...?" I trail off, hoping he'll get the gist.
"I got Healed by a friend." He replies.
"Healed?"
"Yeah." He says it as if it is the most normal thing in the world. Just being Healed.

I open my mouth to ask another question but Zahvahnah decides to be the most annoying person in the world, and she drags me away and shuts the door. Her slender brown fingers close around my wrist, and she pulls me along again. This time though, I don't object. We walk until we get to a green door. Zahvahnah pushes it open, and I'm almost blinded by pure sunlight. The wind on my face feels fantastic, the smell of freshly cut grass fills my nose. The greenery around me is beautiful. I never realised how much you miss the outdoors.
We walk to a tree, and Zahvahnah climbs up to a wide sturdy branch. She beckons for me to follow. Then she says
"So it was you who put him in hospital last week."
"No, not last week. It was on Tuesday that I...you know."
"And what day do you think it is now?" She asks
"Wednesday, maybe Thursday?"
"It's Monday, Rosa. You were in a coma for 5 days."
"Oh" I was not expecting that.

"So, what am I doing here then?" I finally ask the question that has been on my lips since I awoke.
Zahvahnah says "You'll find out when your training starts."
"Which is...?"
Tomorrow, 9am"
I turn around to tell her that is the most unreasonable thing in the world, I need my beauty sleep, and I also don't know what the time is, in my prison cell of a room. But she has already hopped off the branch and is standing by the door, smiling ever-so-sweetly.

Hope you like it guys, so sorry about how much speech there is in this one, the next chapter will be better as it is Rosa getting put in her place!
