Jen's POV
"Jennifer! We need to leave sweety! We're already late!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs.
"I'm coming Ma!" I yelled back as I put my diamond stud earrings on and adjusted my dress as I stood up.
Today is my wedding day. It's the most perfect day of my life, or at least its supposed to be. I'm 15 minutes late do to unforeseen circumstances dealing with my dress. But nevertheless I'm still super excited and nervous, but what girl isn't on their big day? I'm feeling all of the emotions a girl should feel right now. Nervous, excited, happy. Even though I know what Harry and I have is real, I still have that bit of me saying that he'll back out. Needless to say I've been trying to push that to the back of my mind.
I walked down the stairs and while I was watching my footing I heard my mother gasp in awe. I looked up to see her in a beautiful peach colored dress with her hair curled and her hand clasped over her mouth with watery eyes.
"aye Mijita." she said in a shaky voice as I reached the end of the stairs and smiled at her.
"Ma, you can't cry on me now. My makeup is all done." I laughed a little as I walked to meet her.
"You just look all grown up. I'm so proud of you." she said as she rubbed her hands up and down my arms and caressed my face. I smiled and held her hands in mine.
"Well, as much as I love all of this affection, we need to leave before we're more late than we already are." I laughed.
"Oh my god, yes. Harry is probably having a meltdown wondering where you are!" she exclaimed. And with that, we rushed out of the door and into the limo that was waiting for us.
Harry's POV
"Where is she?" I asked nervously as I paced around behind the doors of the church that was supposed to hold the best memory of my life.
"Lupe, just called and said they're on their way." Jennifer's father, David, said as he came up behind me and placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"Okay." I let out a breath that I didn't know I had been holding in.
"Don't worry son, she'll be here. I know my daughter. She would never think of ditching you on her wedding day." he chuckled lightly.
"I would hope not." I said as I joined in on the little joke.
"They're here!" one of the ushers yelled as he ran inside.
"It's show time." David said as he smiled at me and gave me a hug. I smiled back and reciprocated the hug.
Two ushers opened the doors to the church and I walked through smiling and thanking people for coming. Everyone's eyes were on me as I walked up the steps to the stage and took my place beside preacher.
A few moments later the pianist started playing the wedding march and everyone stood up and turned around to look at the two huge mahogany doors at the back of the room. If I wasn't nervous then I was now. I straightened up as I watched Leah and Angelo walk down the aisle arm in arm then separate to join me on the stage.
As soon as I looked up again I saw the most beautiful woman I could've ever imagined. Jennifer was wearing a white dress with no sleeves and with lacing around the collar. The dress had a magnificent train that trailed behind her. Her hair was curled and put up into a bun that was elegant yet stylish. I couldn't stop staring at her. Before I knew it there was a drop of wetness falling onto my suit and that's when I realized I was crying. I never thought on my wedding day that a man like me would cry but here it is and Jennifer is making me ball like a child. I wiped away my tears and was greeted by a smiling Jennifer and her father as he went to take a seat by his wife. I helped her up the steps and leaned into her ear to tell her how beautiful she looked and she just gave me that signature smile that makes my heart melt.
