Chapter 3

" Next up, Amanda Falls!" The announcer called as applause rang out.
I watched my sister walk out. Wait not walk I meant strut." Wow!" A man sitting next to me said." She is good!"
What the heck! My sisters 14 for gods sake.
I quickly got up and sat down next to a random stranger.

Soon came the crowning which my sister ended up in 3rd place with a plastic crown and three hundred dollars.
It may sound good but we spent 1,500 dollars preparing Amanda for this pageant.
My sister walked over to us in her midnight blue ball gown.( picture above) she had a huge grin on her face.
" oh my gosh baby girl you did so good!"my mom cooed. "Astrid! Go get your sisters make up box and other outfits in the car!" She snapped at me before going back to praising my sister.
When I went and got the make up box I paused, and idea hitting my head.
