The Change

Shed Tears

We were eating away eating away when we heard the sound of a horse munching on an apple, so we obviously turned to our horses and saw this man with a hat on which covered his face preventing us to try and recognize him.

We said 'Excuse me' and he was startled which was weird because he must have seen us, but he kept his head down, so we asked his name and he said something that was quite weird to hear. He said 'Jonothan' and then we asked his last name and he didn't say anything, but then he replied hesitantly with the answer 'Baker', we looked at each other with a funny look and then said 'As royalty, we command you to take off your head covering and reveal, to us, your identity.

He slowly took his hat off and straight away my mum started to shed tears as she realised that he was  truly Jonothan Baker, my father. He said that he came to apologize for what he did and that he came to congratulate us for our courageous move, but of course, my mother went off her nut and said to him, 'It's a bit late for apologizing now isn't it?' and he gave a guilty sigh as his stupid, simple reply!!

She said thank you to him for the kind regards then asked why he did what he did to my sister and he said that he didn't do it, but of course we didn't believe him. Then my mum said 'Ohh really, then why did you leave?' and he replied with the words 'To help you' and then went on to say 'Our life was poor and I didn't want to our daughters to grow up with no hope and I was offered a really good job that payed $500 a week' and she said 'Yeah and I didn't want our daughters growing up with no father, but look now.

They talked for ages, but by then I had run into the bushes and cried, but they were to busy arguing to notice!!
